I just ordered the halo 4 xbox and cant find what dlc comes with it, Will it be the same as the limited edition dlc?

This has been answered many times before.
I’ll answer it anyway for you: The console and Limited Edition will have different dlc bonuses.
Check the official Halo 4 page here on Waypoint, or look at one of the past weekly bulletins that was posted after Comic Con, one of them has the details on the DLC coming with the console.

To answer your question, here is a summary of what you get when you purchase the Halo 4 console. The console comes with just the standard edition of Halo 4.
Exclusive Design: This is a Limited Edition, one-of-a-kind console that has been custom designed by the Halo 4 developer, 343 Industries and Xbox 360, specifically for the ultimate Halo fan.
Two Custom Halo 4 Wireless Controllers with Blue LED lights and a rotating D-pad: These high performance wireless controllers boast a range of up to 30 feet and come with a rotating D-pad and Blue LED lights.
Halo 4 Standard Edition Game: Enjoy the Halo experience with the Halo 4 game. Included in this bundle is the Halo 4 Standard Edition game for you begin the Halo Reclaimer saga right out of the box.
Exclusive Sounds: This console features actual Halo 4 in-game sound effects when console is turned on and when the Eject button is pushed.
Custom Content: Receive a code for downloadable Halo 4 content, including a unique armor skin, unique weapon skin, unique emblem, matching avatar armor, and unique avatar prop.
They have been pretty vague as to what the actual DLC will be, that comes with the console. The Armor that we get is called “FOTUS”, and the weapon skin is for the Light Rifle. No pictures have been shown of either.
Here is what you will be getting in the LE of Halo 4.
War Games Map Packs: The Limited Edition includes access to nine maps - three future competitive multiplayer map packs, each including three locations, available for download post-launch on Xbox LIVE.
Bonus digital content through Xbox LIVE: Unique in-game Spartan IV armor skin, unique in-game weapon skin for the Assault Rifle, an exclusive in-game emblem, Xbox LIVE Avatar prop, and Xbox LIVE Avatar Spartan IV armor set (requires Xbox LIVE Gold Membership that is sold separately).
Specializations: Receive early access to six Specializations, available at launch on Xbox LIVE, and use them, one at a time, to achieve higher ranks in your Spartan career. In addition to gaining access to new ranks, Specializations unlock new customization options.
The Special Edition of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, a 90-minute extended version of the live-action digital series which will take fans back to the terrifying beginning of the Human/Covenant war, when the Master Chief inspired a young cadet who would eventually become a leader aboard the UNSC’s greatest vessel ever: the UNSC Infinity.
The UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet includes a Spartan armor customization schematic, information about UNSC weapons, and an introduction to the massive ship UNSC Infinity.
So, the bonus DLC content is the same for the LE and Halo 4 console? Weapon skin, armor skin, emblem, avatar prop, and avatar spartan armor. That’s kinda dissappoining. I was hoping the console would have something different. Or maybe if you bought both you got something extra.

in general it’s the same, BUT, you get a completely different one. You get an armor set the is the in game armor/skin and matching avatar armor.

If they would of made the molded plastic look more fitting to the design, and the Xbox 360’s hardware wasn’t so OLD, I might agree with you…

Thinks about how hard it would be to design and build a custom PC case that looks similar to the Halo 4 Xbox.

For example, the LE includes a skin for the Assault Rifle, while the Console Bundle includes a skin for the Light Rifle.
It has already been confirmed that each SKU (Standard, Limited Edition, and the Console Bundle) will have different content.

Ok. I was seeing them list the same content for LE and the Halo 4 console. You know, weapo skin, armor skin etc. Does anyone have a link where I can see the list of different content for the console? Or, a link showing me where they confirmed that the DLC content will be different.
Nevermind. I did alittle more research with teh fotus armor as a key word. Found someone already posted this very same question a day ago. So sorry guys. Thanks for all the responses though. See you in Halo 4.
