My question is how much of a ridiculous price will people try to sell and buy the Halo 4 console for on ebay?
We all know that around the start of December listings will start to appear on ebay because the console and LE will become harder and harder to find for all the Christmas kids who couldn’t purchase the game themselves on launch.
I am going to assume we will see the console itself being sold for around $500 or even more. And the sad part is, people WILL buy them.
I have the Console, LE, and standard edition (This one for my younger cousin) all pre-ordered in full from money i had received over the summer from working in my local restaurants. I of course plan to enjoy it and not re sell it but I can see how this can be a profit area for buyers on release.
I just went on ebay and saw that someone sold over 10 (out of 12 listed) Pre-orders for the console at $500 each… in the past 2 weeks… thats $5,000 where as he most likely pre-ordered them himself for around $3,500. Thats just crazy.

Yea but Ebay gets 30% of the total…so he didnt make that much profit only 450$
I want to get one, but at the same time I dont want to go through the hassle of selling my perfectly good 250 gb console. The console is damn cool looking, but really I don’t look at it all that often. I’m just going to get the controller and that’s it
