Since Halo 3 & Halo: Reach got their own consoles, do you think Halo 4 will also have a console?
ABSOLUTELY.
Only a matter of time before it is announced w/controller and headset, IMO of course.
It might not get its own console. though it might get skins for your controller and xbox.

I think that it will. It would give the 360 one last go before the next xbox comes out 2013/14.
I hope it looks like one of those Forerunner buildings from the concept art. Maybe they’ll even alter the shape to make it more like it is in the game.

It’s starting to get to that time where you’ve really got to ask yourself if it’s worth it though. Some are expecting the new consoles to arrive/be announced within two years.
Bungie revealed the Reach console at E3, so I bet 343i will show it off and allow preorders then too. Just wait like me for another week.
I don’t think there will be either, and I don’t think there needs to be. Releasing a console for every single major Halo game makes it not fun anymore. Having something like this happen so often doesn’t make it special anymore.

Yeah, if the rumours are true about all the high-end stuff their putting in the Next-box, chances are, its gonna be expensive.
People are going to be saving, not spending.
However, with ODST and Reach, standalone custome controlers were avalable. I’d be happy to see one of those.

Yeah me too, I threw my old xbox away and now I hope there’s a Halo 4 edition of it.

Can we now copy from the regular 360 to the Slim? I recall hearing that wasn’t possible. If so, then I’ll look to get the Halo 4 slim edition. I’ve been using the same Halo 3 special edition since it came out. Knock on wood, no problems to speak of…yet.
Even if it does, it’ll get the same treatment from me that the others got.
Oh, and incidentally, for these consoles that people want to buy you’re basically pooling your money into a console that does the exact same as your current console. All that’s different is that it comes with a different skin and maybe a little more memory.
Your “prestige” to own this item may have increased by a fraction, but your common sense as a human being has depleted by a large chunk.

My console works fine, no need to get a new one just because it looks a little different.
I can understand getting it if your current console is dying/dead, but otherwise, why waste the money?
