Hey, about 10 minutes ago I tried connecting to a halo 4 match and it says I have lost connection to Xbox Live. I dashboarded and found I was still connected to Live and when I play any other game it connects fine. My live hasn’t ran out and I don’t know of any other issue. Is anyone having the same problem at this time?

Are you having issues entering Matchmaking by yourself, or does the problem occur when attempting to join another player’s session?
I don’t know what the issue might be, but hopefully, additional details might be of use to others who see this thread. Whatever the problem is, I hope you’re able to find a resolution.
Yes. This happens periodically in Halo 4 (well, quite often really), and the only fix i’ve found is to dashboard and restart H4 every time it happens.
I’ve been running into the same problem and can’t seem to find a solution. XBox says I’m connected. However, every time I load Halo 4 it says I’m not, even though I can hit the center button and have it show me that I’m connected (and yes, I went to the halo network settings and set them to xbox live). Restarting halo 4 doesn’t help.
I can’t even begin to join a game because it wont let me access wargames or spartan ops.
Anyone have this problem and found a solution?
I don’t know what causes the problem but to fix it all you have to do is turn off your Xbox console or power button at the wall and turn it back on again
I’m having the same problem as well. Every time when I try to play Custom Games it would start “Verifying Selection” on either gametype or map. Then after a while it would say the name of the selection is inappropriate even though it isn’t and then forcefully switches to Local. I can’t switch back to Xbox Live since it would lose connection, even though I am on Xbox Live talking with my friends in a party.
I’ve also been having this problem. I can hardly ever join a game, because a few minutes after i start searching it kicks me off Live. And when I’m able to actually able to get into a game, I’m usually disconnected in the first few seconds. Anyone know why? Is it Halo 4?
Same problem here, every so often “You must have an Xbox Live connection” pops up…
Considering I’m still in party chat, I’m obviously connected to LIVE still…
Best fix is just to dashboard and restart…
