Okay I posted this cause I feel like this one is almost near to impossible to get, I know some maps have them, you can find them in Big Team Infinity Slayer mostly from what I know. But no one that I have played with has ever got in them and stayed there and killed someone in it, mostly you just DMR or shoot him off. Spartan Ops does not have them I have checked. But I want to know from you guys how would you handle this?
just hope the enemies get on a damaged mongoose. mongooses have more health then any other vehicle, but since the driver is exposed, even a laser will kill the driver and just damage the mongoose. i’ve only killed 2 so far both of which were already flaming before i lasered it.
Mongoose Destroyer is just a whole new kind of hell. I almost destroyed an occupied Mongoose several times but every time I hit the Mongoose itself, the driver dies and the Mongoose is intact. -_-

This might take until Halo 5’s launch unless some people are willing to go and drive around like a maniac with a Mongoose after getting a few kills to prevent a ban for boosting. I’m gonna do that when I get to SR-130 to be charitable and make it less rediculous. So if you happen to see my post about my Mongoose Destruction Charity, you might be able to catch me a few times in BTB or something else with Mongeese (Correct Plural?) after a couple minutes of normal play. This commedation is rediculous. Who rides a Mongoose unless your transporting your Flag Carrier in CTF but every so often, you see that one person who jumps in a Mongoose for quick transport and you get the chance for helping Mongoose Destroyer.
Also, I hope that theres somewhere in Spartan Ops where the Covies got a bunch of Mongeese for whatever reason and you can farm it instead of War Games. Not like anybody ever gets in a Mongoose in War Games anyway except for those rare times.

I only got 29 ranks to go before I act like a maniac and waste our many Mongeese. They just sit there and collect dust.
My only suggestion is to use the Mantis stomp attack. This takes out both ghosts and mongooses (mongeese, I dunno) in only one stomp and doesn’t just kill the driver.

That would work if the Mongoose doesn’t drive around at a safe distance or drive too far away.
Just for the LOL’s I sometimes jump in a mongoose during Big Team and I do laps around the whole map, really funny XD
If people are willing to grind out the Commendation, I’m down to help. I only have 2 destroyed, myself.
So if you want to help somebody to get this commandation, fine.
But what about the rest of your team? Especially in BTB or other Slayer game modes you screw up your teammates by acting foolish and gathering deads!
Unless you’re not playing private games please quite doing such things since there is no ranked playlist like in H3 where ambitious player can go.
great point. Since its impossible we should just not kill mongoose drivers. Lets just enjoy mongeese for there awesome and vow never to jump.
If you aim for the rear wheels (which means you would have to be behind the mongoose as it drives off towards your direction) with the spartan laser (and all the laser strikes the target) or you stick a 1/2 damaged mongoose on the wheels with a plasma grenade then it will count as a vehicle destroy. I’m currently still playing Halo 4 on 360 and have 6/25 destroyed on the 2/5 Adept complete commendation progress, which means I have only ever destroyed 21 and will need 144 left to complete Mongoose Destroyer. It ain’t happening…
