Ok like seriously what the hell. I have gotten 2 perfections and they havent added to my commendations. I have had 2/3 on the 2/5 perfection commendation for about a month now and within that time i have gotten 2 perfections. One of them being today i got 18 kills and it will not add. Can someone please help me with this and explain to me why my progress does not count. Its bad enough im getting a ton of wasted xp because of the crappy ranking system that needs to raised. Im playing for the commendations and once the reason why i play doesnt allow me to progress then there is no reason to continue. I play or fun and ranks/commendations. What the crap is going on. I havent been banned or anything. So please tell me why i am not progressing. If you cant explain, then you have no reason to post on this thread. I am asking for help not your opinion.
Did anyone quit the game? Because if a blackscreen happened, then it does not count towards the commendation.
Just a note as you did not mention it yourself: You can only get perfections in Slayer because camping in objective games is far to easy. So unless you got the “perfection” in an objective game I don’t know what else could be the problem.

Wrong. Since its a commendation, blackscreen doesn’t affect it.
Ive gotten a perfection in CTF and other objective games before so it does work. Maybe it changed recently. But then if thats it, the description for the perfection has false information. It reads Complete a match without dying and get at least 15 kills. A match. It doesnt specify what the match is. So if you can only get it in Slayer it should clearly state that instead of just saying match. A match in Halo is any gametype. Any game. Its not specific. If the player commendations were specific then they would go under the gametype commendations and not be part to the section of commendations that you can get all over War Games.

Your right it is very misleading and honestly it should be in the Slayer commendation. But a Perfection has always been Slayer only so I don’t see how you got a perfection in an objective gametype. The very reason it wasn’t added to objective gametypes was because its just far to easy to camp and not play the objective. The fact you got your 18-0 (or whatever it was) is most likely because you were playing crappy players (low csr) and was not playing the objective. If you were to play the exact same opponents in Slayer, I can almost promise you that you would not have got the perfection because of the style of play.
Did your team win the game? Fairly sure that’s still one of the requirements for a perfection.

Jeez man grow up. How old are you? Like 10? Look at my stats before you call me bad because if I’m bad well just look at your stats…
I did not call you a bad player. I was stating the fact that you played bad players while not playing the objective. Anybody can do that. The point I was trying to make is that if you were put into a lobby with the same opponents in Slayer, would you get the Perfection again? No because you can’t just sit back in slayer. There is no objective to abuse and you would be constantly pushed. You even said it yourself that you won unfairly…
Halo Nations description of a Perfection medal: The Perfection medal is a medal awarded in Halo 3 and Halo: Reach <mark>for winning any Slayer game with at least 15 kills, and without dying</mark>. It should be noted that you do not need to get a Running Riot medal, just 15 kills, which means the medal can still be obtained if the game selects a new host and resets your spree. If you are in a Team Slayer match, you have to get 15 kills by yourself without dying and your team still has to win.
Sure that is the old medal but I’m certain its stayed the same further proved by the point you made that your “perfections” were not added. Now I may be wrong but the fact no one has said otherwise may prove the point. Why don’t you do some research yourself next time?

obviously no one can guarantee that. But if you were playing 1 on 1 against me, and I was constantly running to try and score 5 flags, if you sit back and ignore the flag obviously it is FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR easier for you to get the perfection on me than if the objective I am playing is to kill you.
