due to the size of the halo clan community I think that a good clan support feature will be needed but it should be one that dosnt base a clan on average kd or members like cod.
clan support should have the ability to manage member’s loadouts, armour, service tags and emblems but requires confirmation from the members to avoid a leader making everyone pink.
it should also include features for ranks, divisions,wars and alliances.
custom games should have an option to remove forced colours so that clans can use their colours in matches without doing a ffa base attack with everyone spawning at the same place.
You already have a friends list, so I assume your clanmates are on your friends list. They can change their armor, colors, emblem, etc themselves to match everyone else. I do not understand the “War” and “Alliance” part… Between certain clans? That sounds like something you can do between yourselves in your minds… not sure why making an interface for it would do anything.
I mean, the ONLY thing I could see coming out of implementing clans is a Clan Match playlist, but when it comes down to it, just play MLG or Team Slayer playlists. You’ll play against 4-person teams. I do not see what the difference here, aside from them not having a clan name, but perhaps they have a team name.
I would love for clan lists to become apart of halo 4. But i don’t see the point in controlling everyone’s colors and loadouts. I’m in a Community where we have particular colors and emblems but we are not that lazy =P. Nice way of thinking outside of the box though.
I would love for 343 to bring the clan system back into Halo 4. I loved teaming up with other clan members and heading into the clan matchmaking playlist, it was a blast. Please 343 find it in your heart to bring back the clan system.
