This is actually a very smart move and an unusual release date. As we all know, most of the huge games come out between October and Late November. This also gives people a fairly large amount of time to play these games and get tired of them. So once they’re sick of all of the games they’ve played to death and are looking for something new to play, they’ll look at Halo 4. And since it’s releasing around christmas and there’s no other games interfering with Halo 4’s release, sales might just be significantly larger.
Not saying it WILL release in time for Christmas, but if it does, these are my predictions. And never has a Halo game received a “Holiday” release window, so I believe this is certainly a possibility.
