Halo 4 Choppy Frame Rate

Hi everyone,

The title of this thread says it all. I have a brand new Xbox 360s (250 gig) that is less than 24 hours old, and a brand new copy of Halo 4.

Furthermore, I have every port forwarded on my router to ensure that I have the most optimal online experience. (OPEN NAT)

And as for my internet speed, it is good:

– 24.87 MBPS Download –
– 4.18 MBPS Upload –

As of 2 seconds ago.

Now, when playing online… specifically Big Team Battle, my game becomes incredibly choppy at times, and it is incredibly frustrating.

I have spoken to Microsoft about the issue, and they have informed me to come to these forums to seek help and or to see if anyone is experiencing similar symptoms to what I am going through. Because as per our 2 hour discussion, they are, and I quote:

“Scratching their heads at this.”

If anyone has experienced this, or if anyone has any helpful input as to a resolution to this issue, please post!

Thanks,

Bassm4ster6

they left you out to dry

nothing ever gets resolved here

you are better off:

  1. waiting it out
  2. contact MS games directly

SilentJacket,

I appreciate your post. However, I hope that what you say is untrue.

I feel like if I wait it out, I will go bald, because I will pull my hair out.

And, if I contact Microsoft Games directly, they will just give me the runaround.

If anyone has any further input, I would greatly appreciate it!

Or if anyone has experienced this issue, please post!

Choppy frame rate is not a result of your network.

It is a result of the Xbox hardware being so antiquated it cannot run Halo 4 properly when alot is going on at the same time.

Try playing campaign, if it has a problem you’ll notice there, big team sometimes lags and it teleports u sometime, but about ur issues I bet it was the room you joined, it was laggy.

Try playing the campaign or joining another room.
