I think lots of players here have those ideas… that for infortune we didnt see on Reach… (the only negative point on REACH)
Well… things that you should put on H4:
More colors to armor
All the existent armor pieces + new parts
Halo already have some "fun itens"like armor effects (hearts) and helmets like Hayabusa (bring it back please) and Katana armor (bring it back please). So, BRING THEM BACK! LOL and add another “theme based itens” like… dragon-based helmet and somethings like that.
More visor colors OR visor color select.
We can select the color we want for each piece of our armor individualy… like: BLue armor, red helmet, green gloves, pink boots… etc…
Lots of armor effects (flames with several colors, FULL BODY FLAME, a cloud that rain above the player, some DARK EFFECT)
add GARMENT itens like… a cape? some plants on the body do look more CAMO-type, SHINE armor, used armor (the ones like REACH), New armor (like Halo 3)
DEEP BLACK COLOR
some bright visor like a shine of laser (to look evil!)

I personally don’t like Inclimate Weather because it is so distracting to look at, so I certainly don’t want full body flame. Something more simple, like everywhere you walk and drive a trail of fire is left behind or something. Otherwise, I agree completely.
I know one thing i hated about customisation in reach is the fact you have to buy EVERYTHING. I hope halo 4 armour customisation is based on rank and not credits. Its annoying when you are saving up for something and you want to change helmets just for fun but you have to spend your hard earned credits on it for 1 game.

I’d rather have items be unlocked by achievements and objectives, such as the Katana in H3.

Good, I think we should have both… Itens that appear on Rank up, Itens that appear on achievements =) and Itens we can get by completing challanges.

Something like this, yea. I want to wear armor that means something, so players will know that I’m a force to be reckoned with, not that I grinded Firefight for a month straight.
I kind of like the credit system, but I think that as well as armours that are unlocked via ranking up there should be some that are unlocked by completing other challenges, such as getting a killionaire or whatever

Yes Thats the point! That way players will need to create strategy to get certain medals or survive for certain time to unluck awesome armor pieces that`ll show other players that THEY CAN DO IT!

Personally, I think the armor you choose should slightly affect certain abilities. Such as if you put on this one chest piece it gives you a 10% added jetpack bonus. Nothing to dramatic though like extra shielding, extra damage, faster reloading, or faster melee. Maybe a certain helmet that allows you to see in VISOR mode or night vision in multiplayer. Or a wrist piece which allows 30% quicker recovery from sword lunges. Little (and I do mean little) stuff that could occasionally be a life saver and not just there for show.
Also I think depending on which helmet you choose you get a slightly different HUD or vision from your visor.
Please no user created content. Games like Call of Duty have this and it not only takes away from the immersion but also breaks the mood whenever there is some sort of offensive content.
If necessary keep it how it is, any user created content should be restrictive and pre-defined like the emblems.
haha, i hav an idea thatll please both the ppl who luv the challenge and the ones who want the credit system, how about when you buy the base helmet, shoulders, etc. you would hav to pay with credits, but to get the attachements you would hav to complete certain challenges like getting an overkill or somethin. i would like to see armor coming bak in sets like h3, not randome Yoink! like in reach. not like if u want an eva helmet u hav to wear the shoulders, u know wat i mean. same with elites i want to see more sets and more customization. also i think that the visors shouldnt cost any credts cuz they are more of a color option and not an armor option. i also think that armor effects and firefight voices should be unlocked by challenges. that helmet customization sounds rly cool too. i would make rouge helmet.
