When changing the button layout to any variant from Default to Universal Bumper Jumper, the game won’t allow it. You will get an error stating that “one or more actions are not bound to a key” and you will be forced to revert to the default settings. However, even when the defaults are restored, the warning message persists in the pause menu.
Im guessing its a bug and they want you to change the bindings for keyboard and mouse as well.
Happened to me for a while. It’s a bug by the looks of it! Could only fix it by repeatedly mashing the ‘Revert to Default Settings’ button. It completely locked me out of changing my video settings for a while too, which was unfortunate!
This has always been weird and annoying; it has a history of doing this exact thing. Keyboard settings seem to be a bit more busted than usual this time, though. Not only are a lot of default binds missing, but they seem to be shifted down by one - you’ll see a lot of keys that look like they’re just randomly bound, but then you see that many of them make sense for the action above itself. Or at least it did that for me.
If you use controller exclusively, you can just rando-bind things until it’s happy for now.
This actually happened on the H3 Flight as well. Simply revert back to default, don’t leave the screen and set it again. It should work. I had to do it 2-3 times on the H3 one, and just had to do the same thing a couple of times now.
Experiencing the same thing, It keeps saying “One or more actions are not bound to a key, (Halo 4).” issue won’t go away no matter what.
