I felt that if bungie (no I am not one of those diehard bungie fans) was to make a Halo 4; the campaign would have been much longer. I also dont feel like the Spartan Ops should count as “more campaign.” To me it looks like a dumbed down version of fire fight. although on a bigger maps. I dont care about the spartan ops story. 343 just should have spent the time making the campaign long. It took me 16 hours to beat the Halo 4 campaign(legendary) and I am not the great of a player. It took me just over 36 hours to beat Reach(legendary). also, did the elites seem to be dumbed down compared to the elites in Reach. I am not trying to say halo 4 sucks but I want more campaign. the Multi P. is good. the armor stuff is neat. the Spatan Ops is OK. also what is on the second disk? is the 50 episodes of Spartan OPS? If that is the case if I paid for 50 episode than it should all be available to me NOW!
IN CONCLUSION MAKE THE CAMPAIGN LONGER AND CUT OUT THE STUPID CRAP.
(maybe bungie set the bar too high!)
((the graphics and sound are FANTASTIC though))
I would have to agree with everything except I would say “misplaced effort” before “Stupid Crap”. Halo 4 was 7 missions, an unprecedented low, plus the plot was not so impressive though they may be going somewhere with it.
Spartan Ops was NOT campaign, I would say scrap it and bring back firefight plus the aforementioned beefier campaign. -I did not check the date on this and cannot delete this post, though nobody is likely to see anyway.
I agree, i was pretty disappointed in the lack of time it took me to complete the campaign, i like to go through the campaign on each difficulty so i can see what each difficulty is like compared to the other games i’ve played, and ODST was my first halo game, i played Halo Wars, but that sorta doesn’t count IMO, and even though ODST did not fall into the “Master Chief story”, it was still wicked hard. When I was working through the ODST campaign on Legendary, I played the evasion game when i got to the last section in Tayari Plaza with the pair of Hunters because it was near impossible to kill the Hunters, maybe it was just my lack of skill in knowing how to take them out, but in Halo 4, killing the Hunters is a piece of cake. So yeah, the enemies in 4 are way easier to beat, which also makes the Campaign go that much quicker.

They did not have too many encounters with Hunters in Halo 4, though they did not have too many encounters with anything, The game had a far less epic feel. The promeatheans are also not that interesting to fight.
