I cant believe there isnt a topic in the halo 4 thread about the story halo 4 may have, i browsed through to 4 or 5 pages and theres nothing on the story. so i thought i’d make this topic.
What are your ideas and theories that may happen in halo 4, where is the game gonna take us?, what new enemy will we encounter? things like that.
I think it is going to have something to do with stuff that happens at the end of Primordium. I won’t say specifically what in case I spoil it for those who haven’t read it but it has to do with precurors and the Librarian.
Primordium and the terminals make it seem like the Didact might be the antagonist. Funny since so far in the forerunner trilogy he is a protagonist, even if he used to hate humans. How much of the hatred is still there? I think we’ll find out in the next book. Chakas did say that he “betrayed them all.”
So it’s a good possibility that the Forerunners will be enemies (although I think I would prefer not, unless the last book changes things
this new trilogy will be the same as the first one
halo 4 - blow up sigma 7 wich is the planet seen in the trailer ( halo ring in ce )
halo 5 - where the conflict is at its worst ( just like in halo 2 )
halo 6 - finishing the fight ( like halo 3 )

What makes you think that its “sigma 7”? They never said that, they just said it was a “mysterious forerunner planet”
I think from the concept art images seen, the enemy looks like a Precursor and I believe this precursor may be the antagonist who is controlling de flood! :3… Here is my theory… The last precursor who had been kept as a prisoner wants revenge, and from somewhere I read that the precursors are the ones who created the flood as a weapon during the precursor forerunner war, and that thing that master chief is headed towards… I think it’s a shield world and shield worlds were meant to be like “bomb shelters” from the halo rings but um there locations were given away so the flood may have entered those shield worlds? So err this might be a long shot but master chief is heading towards a shield world full of flood controlled by the last precursor!

3 games not one. and the precurser changes shape so who knows if that in the concept art looked like one? Although, if it isn’t a precurser, I have no idea what it is. New race that landed on Installation 04 in the terminals? There is so many possibilities. 343 is giving us nothing. The books give ideas, but that’s just it, more ideas. Props to 343 for keeping everything under wrap. This game might have surprises like Halo CE if they keep protecting all the important stuff. That being said, we need to know at least somewhat the main enemy we’ll be fighting (i.e. the covenant in Halo CE).
I’m experiencing a sudden obsession with halo to learn everything there is to know about it and I think I need something to help me wait for halo 4… PLZ GIMME SOMETHING!!! :O…
Spoilers: A select few Forerunners (in cryo stasis prior) are awoken by the Didact to kill humans, although the Didact is in fact being controlled by the Precursors, unbeknownst to him or his soliders. MB finds out about this and takes John to Requiem deliberately via the portal from the Ark, he explains it took so long (5 years) because:
He wanted to wait until John was ensured safe passage to Requiem and
The ship was obviously non-functional so floating in space can take awhile.
MB wants John to help him kill the Didact and get to the bottom of the Precursor nonsense, but John is reluctant. To persuade him, MB says if John helps him “atone” then MB will help the increasingly unstable Cortana reach meta-stability.
The Covenant are present because they picked up the Forward Unto Dawn’s distress signal and thought they could loot the ship (they’re actually just pirates, FYI, hence the cruddy armor), and the Infinity subsequently shows up because they were tracking said Covenant ships.
I think the precursors could be good after all and that the whole purpose of the purpose of the flood was to test the humans and forerunners to see which is more worthy of the Milky Way galaxy. The humans suceeded but were defeated by the forerunners. The forerunners failed and sort of cheated with destroying all life. So the precursors decided neither were worthy. Now the precursors have decided to give us another chance by unleashing a whole new threat to the galaxy that Master Chief and Cortana will have to fight.
