Based on what has been told on Halo 4, here’s a possible story of Halo 4.
Onyx. Shield world. Unknown date - error - . In the remains of the UNSC Forward unto dawn (FFG-201).
After Opening Cinematic
Cortana: Chief…Chief!
John wakes up. He has been unconscious for a short amout of time. What just happen? He was not sure.
-Where are we?
-I don’t know. Looks like a Forerunner world. Let’s move.
John entered the structure he had seen during the crash. He grabbed his assault rifle.
-Wait… said Cortana. There’s someone in there. Pay attention.
Jorn didn’t replied. He moved forward with his rifle in front.
-Multiple contacts detected! Chief, we should get back to the ship…NOW!
-No…wait.
He heard something he did not heard since a very long time. A voice…an old friend’s voice…
John opened the door in front of him. Someone was behind the door.
A spartan.
Kelly fell in the arms of the Chief.
-John…
…we thought you were dead…
Two other human forms appeared. Fred and linda. Behind them someone was starring at them with a smile.
Doctor Halsey.
Ending
John remembered what dr.Halsey told him a long time ago…
“I should have trying to save every human life, and that regardless of the price that I had to pay.”
He was going to join his team. He will save them…or die trying.
i doubt they will just introduce them in an opening cinematic, probably find clules of them and have to drive all around the open world looking for more clues, possibly find some of them dead
Halsey? Halsey was arrested and is being held on Installation 03… Kelly and the other Spartans are most likely enlisting in the Spartan IV program. Have you read Glasslands? Onyx the planet was destroyed, and the Sheild part of it (the Dyson Sphere) was brought out of slipspace by some Huragok, and it turned out to be the size of Earth’s orbit… which is a bit bigger than the object we saw in the reveal trailer. And the Dyson Sphere seen from the outside is brownish in color and featureless, there wouldn’t be any huge tractor beam thing on it.

It’s the spartan 3s who are enlisting into the spartan iv program not the spartan 2s.
> i doubt they will just introduce them in an opening cinematic, probably find clules of them and have to drive all around the open world looking for more clues, possibly find some of them dead
I also think the UNSC will find chief in like the 4th or 5th mission with frigates full of reinforcements.
> > Halsey? Halsey was arrested and is being held on Installation 03…
>
> When is this said?
In Glasslands, Halsey was arrested near the end. Then Admiral Parangosky confined her to the Ivanoff Station in orbit of Installation 03, and the rest of the public was informed that she was dead.
> > Halsey? Halsey was arrested and is being held on Installation 03…
>
> When is this said?
It was said by parangoski at the end of Glasslands
> It’s the spartan 3s who are enlisting into the spartan iv program not the spartan 2s.
Not true in Fact Osman Asked Naomi A Spartan 2 to join and said that it has already started and that other Spartans have already taken part in in the Project. So to say it was just spartan 3s with the majority being on Onyx at the time of its destruction is flawed.
> > The spartans are not on Onyx anymore.
>
> Didn’t Frank say that it wasn’t Onyx in the trailer during a interview?
No But he says its an unidentified forerunner structure and seeing as Onyx has been identified. and if you have read Glassland why would he be floating toward a place the UNSC are probably station.

Spartan 3s and consenting adults, also the Spartan 2s are enlisting to the program as mentors for the next generation Spartans.
Uh kind of disappointing actually. I want John to find his old team! But I liked the fact that the Spartans were a dying breed. For the simple fact John reminds me of the Doctor in Doctor Who. He’s this badYOINK who believed he was the only one of his kind in the universe. Making a bunch of New Spartans would ruin it. John should exterminate the Spartan IV’s.
> [Hmm… looks like you’re right. But still, the Spartan IIs would either get ONI jobs, or high-up military jobs. They wouldn’t be near Onyx’s destruction, and the Dyson Sphere is too big to be the thing in the teaser trailer. They could, however, be on the Infinity, and meet up with the Chief that way. The OP would have to change his entire theory if thats the case though, with Halsey out of the picture, and the Spartan IIs arriving in a different way.
> Spartan 3s and consenting adults, also the Spartan 2s are enlisting to the program as mentors for the next generation Spartans.
Is every one forgetting that Osman Asked Naomi to join the Program already which means she could be part of it and there more surviving spartan 2s then 3s,

I don’t think Admiral Parangosky, the rest of ONI, the rest of the UNSC, and the Spartan IVs, would allow him to do that. The Chief is professional, he would know better than to take on the entire UNSC, even if he is backed up by rebels or whatever. And John will most likely return to the UNSC at some point, and its not going to be a secret return, most likely, and then the other Spartans would know. We already know a UNSC ship, the Infinity, is at the place the Chief is going.
I’m doubtful that there will be other spartan characters other than the cheif. And Halsey… I haven’t read any of the books so I don’t know much of her whereabouts.

Yes sadly I know that he’d never do it! But I still think that SPARTANS should not be able to “work” if you will without Halsey.
