It’s an old problem from what I see, but not going away…
Campaign won’t load. Sometimes after initial cutscene it resets. Sometimes I actually get 5 minutes of action after all the cutscenes and then it freezes. Can’t load the waypoint of any mission from the menu.
Steps I’ve taken:
- Got a new disc
- Cleared system cache
- Cleared system cache and deleted Halo 4 files and retried
- Performed 1 and 2 with and without installing updates from Live
- Tried to install Disc 1 to hard drive (can’t read disc. Scratched/dirty)
- Performed steps 1 and 2 and tried to install Disc 1 (same case)
I’ve combed every forum, every source on the web. I’ve done everything I can think of. Here’s my console information

I know it’s an older Xbox; don’t tell me I “need” a new console. Every other game I have plays just fine
Help would be appreciated. Otherwise I’m taking the game back.
