Halo 4 campaign MCC no HUD

Hey all,
Just started playing the Halo 4 campaign. About half an hour into the game I noticed that the HUD had disappeared. I checked if any skulls had switched on and they hadn’t.

Strangely, the “zoom” function no longer toggles, only lasts as long as the button is pressed.

And the menu button doesn’t work anymore (burger button on the right).

I’ve tried restarting, rebooting the console and restoring settings to default to no avail.

It’s not “game breaking” but very annoying, but I understand that others are having much more serious issues but any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Just had the same exact issue; no HUD, had to hold the stick to zoom, and menu button didn’t work. I restarted the mission twice and suddenly everything was back to normal.
