halo 4 CAMPAIGN hopes

I’m not going to say very much but I want to see what other people think,
I want Halo 4 campaign to be as in depth and as descriptive as halo 2 campaign, side note anyone who hasn’t seen Halo 2 campaign you should defiantly check it out!

I think I would be correct if I made the broad generalization that we all want Halo 4’s campaign to be great. I can’t wait to see how the story of Master Chief, Cortana, and the other characters evolve.

I think it’ll be a fusion of Halo 1 and 2’s styles in the sense that it will open up the universe a bit more like Halo 2 but still feel like we’re in a foreign and dangerous place like Halo CE

it needs to have an analyse feature that isn’t limited to kinect users, and that isn’t limited to weapons and species (maybe murals or objects of interest?). Also, it needs to last more than 12 hours, and certainly must be more interesting and deep than reach.

I’m expecting it to be the most like CE’s campaign because like CE, 4 is not focusing on the war and instead more on exploration, or so we are currently being lead to believe. (Yes, I know the war was a huge part of CE, but it was really just a plot device to get you to the ring and learn its secrets. It wasn’t until HAlo 2 that the games started focusing primarily on the war.)

You’re asking for a 12 hour campaign from a first person shooter? That’s almost NEVER going to happen even in Halo. Besides, a lot of people who play video games have a short attention span, so sitting down for 12 hours straight to beat the Campaign in one sitting because they’ll forget what happened if they don’t is kind of a harsh task especially for students or people who work 9-5.

I’d like it to have a sense of scale and for it to allow me to actually care or at least be intrigued by what’s going on. IMO Reach was lacking in that regard.

Also, I’d like to see the great aesthetics the Halo series is known for.

The campaign better get a lot of love. This isn’t 2004 any more; the shooter multiplayer market is very crowded now. If Halo 4 wants to stand out from the crowd it’ll need to shine in the area that it’s competition doesn’t; a long well done campaign.
