Alright guys

I just have a quick question, when dying in halo 4, the whole mission restarts-is there any way to avoid this?

Turn off the Iron skull? That’s about all I can say, dude. Sorry. :confused:

There’s two ways to stop restarting the mission, then.

  1. Play Solo without Iron Skull
  2. Play Co-op with/without Iron Skull

With Co-op, the Iron skull will only send you back to the last checkpoint when someone dies. However, this occurs every time one person dies, not necessarily everyone. :wink:

correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the description of the iron skull literally say it sends you back to the beginning of the level when you die?

Yes it does, but only in solo campaign. Co-op just reverts to the last checkpoint. Always has.

Just turn it off and you’ll be fine.

Thanks for the responses guys. Flicking off the Iron Skull solved my issue. I guess I wrongly thought you had to choose at least one skull, nonetheless still a schoolboy error.
