All of this is true and there is no denying. I don’t need to play H4 to know its like COD, because from what they showed and released every idea is same as COD just named different. Goodbye arena style Halo

ya, I thought 343i was going to stray away from this. I thought 343i were “halo fans”, not cod fans. Cos last I checked Halo was an Arena style shooter not a class based one

Is it bad that they’re borrowing stuff from other games and making these features unique and different in Halo 4?

i dont blame them,

they are making the game better and adding things people are used to games nowadays.

also, just cuz cod has it, doesnt mean halo cant. CoD has weapons, so now lets throw stones.

A lot of these things were in games before CoD had them.

Wow everything u listed is also in Warhammer 40k Space marine also… oops is it a CoD clone also… doubt it. even the last three transformers games has most of those, including the newest one… CoD rippoffs, lmao.

In what way is specialisation like prestige? Each specialisation gives you 10 extra levels.

You probably want to think and experience it for yourself. Don’t knock it until you try it, then let’s have a healthy discussion on what you deem needs improving. ((((Shrugs))))

3. No they dont. Perks yes. Prestige no. When you reach max rank, you choose a specialization and go through, and when you finish it you choose another one (you keep everything you earn).
4.Maybe, but you still cant start with what ever you want (snipers, shotguns, SAWs)
5.Only in one game mode (infinity slayer)
6 and 7. From the ones ive seen, they are actually very balanced. none give you a big advantage.
8. COD isnt the first game. Counter strike had weapon skins.

None of those features were invented by call of duty LOL

Instant Respawns - Unreal tournament
Hit markers - Not sure what the first game was, but BF2 had them before CoD 4 did
Specializations/Prestige - Specialization isn’t prestiging, specializations add ranks not resets you to level 1, therefore it’s not prestieging.
Custom classes - First used in Team Fortress
Ordinance Drops - First used in HALO 4, they are not carepackages OR killstreaks as you can die and still get one after death, it’s a point streak, and point streaks don’t exist in CoD
Perks - first used in the original fallout, first shooter to use them was Star wars battlefront
Grenade indicators - the first game to use this was wolfenstien, this game was one of the first FPS
Points in slayer - WTF?
Words on screen - First game to use HUD messages when you got kills was again wolfenstien, the patched multiplayer had a feature to tell you when you got a kill
Spartan Ops - Spartan operations sounds nothing like anything from Call of Duty, Halo 4’s seperate co-op campaign will last for 10 weeks providing a 10 week story, cod’s spec ops usually has 4-5 missions lasting 2 hours.
Sprint Core Ability - The first person to use sprint was a caveman by the name of Ohgnak he used it to escape an attacking bear, ever since the human race has “COPIED” Ohgnak, he died before he could put copyright claims on it.
Score ticker like cod - Look at Bops2 scoreboard, i’ll think you’ll find it’s not similar in anyway to Halo 4’s.
