halo 4 = call of duty elements.

I am not trying to start anything or cause things, i am posting this because i am concerned about the halos future, the reason being is after countless videos and interviews i have watched.
The main thing that really bothers me is the Promethean vision the ordnance drops aka kill-streaks and the custom classes, i understand that they want to appeal to more broader audience(cod)but this halo don’t turn it into something else, if i want play crappy cod i will play, if i want to play halo i will play.
In one of the interviews the reason being for ordnance drops is for new-players and casual players who don’t know the spawns of the weapons around the map, i think this is bull, longtime halo players had nothing spoonfed to them they played the game and learned the maps and were the weapons are, i think its just sad how casual and newer players dont know how to find weapons play the game and learn were the weapons are, easy as that dont whine and ask for ordinance drops how sad.
Whats up with this Promethean vision casual/noob players dont know how to find players around the map, so now they have vision that can see through walls its just sad.
I hate to already bash on the game but from the looks and sounds of the game its slowly moving out of the halo game we love and know.
If they have classic/mlg modes were their is non of this crap i will be happy i dont want to be forced to play with these new elements of the game.
Oh one more thing i hope they fix the sounds of the guns they sounds like little toys appealing to cod kitties =D.

You did just start and cause things…

Every game has aspects and things of other games, these things can make Gameplay more fun, or they greatly improve Gameplay.

Now, Halo 4, the Gameplay is incredibly good, and it doesn’t feel like COD at all.

inb4 lock…3…2…1…

Already addressed a long time ago. Little late on talking about it.

i understand but halo has always been about innovation not implementing things i am not against change but i disagree with the aspects they are changing.

You’re a few months late, my friend.

> i understand but halo has always been about innovation not implementing things i am not against change but i disagree with the aspects they are changing.

A part of innovation is implementing new things. You might want to think about it before you say something like that.

> i understand but halo has always been about innovation not implementing things i am not against change but i disagree with the aspects they are changing.

Halo 4 is already innovating, and it’s taking what COD has done to the next level.

As someone who has played halo 4 at RTX, I can vouch for this. Halo 4 feels like Halo 4.

I hope you are being sarcastic, at first I was saying halo 4 will be an ok game, defiantly better than reach. Now I hear about the ranking system being exactly like COD with prestige systems, I just can’t help it anymore.

Mostly everyone said that halo 4 isn’t like COD well it sure has compiled a list of familiarities to COD. I had hope that they’d make the ranking system like halo 3 and just upgraded it by making it fair and simple, you could even add credits I wouldn’t care but this ranking system is ridiculous.

I loved how the “true skill” system in reach was horrible but now we have a COD aspect of a true skill system and I’ve played COD.

well lets look at the previous halos like h3 they made their own thing called forge world that was not a copy.
just saying i would not call ordinance drops/care packages or Promethean vision/black-light tango-down innovation.

Spartan Ops?

lol you people. Halo 4 hardly looks innovative, nothing but rehashed mechanics used and every generic FPS with a new name.

I’ve played Halo 4 at the E3, in my opinion it doesn’t feel in any way like COD, yes I’ve played COD too.

But this is just my opinion, I’m not trying to convince other people to change their opinion on this matter, I respect your opinion, it’s just that we have diffrent opinions regarding this matter.

lol spartan ops/spec ops from black ops still no innovation.
