343 Industries, I doubt you guys are reading this but if you are Halo 4 needs custom button layouts.
According to MLG pro BestMan, who played a little Halo 4 today, “Bumper jumper is x to nade. Sprint A. Was all messed up”. Now, I play bumper jumper and I am not happy about this. I’m sure there everybody can agree that Halo 4 needs custom button layouts. This allows everybody to go in and change their layout to how they like it. Even if it is not already in the game I cannot imagine that adding this simple feature would take very long to build and it would be appreciated by everybody. This would make not only switching games easier because you have the same button layout but it would make sure nobody was frustrated that their layout was not in the game.
This would be my custom button layout, how about you guys?

> LT: Grenade
> RT: Shoot
> LB: Jump
> RB: Melee
> A: Armor Ability
> B: Action/Reload
> X: Sprint
> Y: Switch Weapons
> Left Stick: Crouch
> Right Stick: Scope/Zoom
> Left/Right D-Pad: Switch Grenades
You read my mind. Exactly how I want to play Halo 4.
Left/Right D-Pad: Switch Grenade
Hold D-Pad (Any Direction): Select Ordinance
I use default stick layout.
I’d like to have sprint and melee up on the bumpers but there just aren’t enough buttons, so I put them as close to the right stick as I could. Also, the only reason I have Armour Ability on LT is because of Jetpack. If it has changed significantly from Reach I would swap it with melee.
I think Halo has needed custom controls since 3. If only every game had it…it was probably the only thing i truly loved about that game known as Brink. anyway, heres what mine would be
RT = shoot
LT = grenade
LB = Sprint
RB = zoom
(bumpers can go either way really. i’d mess around with it)
A = Jump
B = armor ability
X = reload/action
Y = switch weapons
Left Stick = crouch
Right Stick = melee
Left/Right D-Pad: Switch Grenade
Hold D-Pad (Any Direction): Select Ordinance
