If you’ve read and seen the new audio video, several hints are in place that suggest a return of fan-favorite BR.
“We’ve recorded source material for the arsenal of both new and returning weapons you’ll have at your disposal in Halo 4.”
In addition, in the video, we can hear burst-fire sounds at the 0:37 mark.
What are your thoughts? Or perhaps it’s also likely that a new burst-fire weapon is to be introduced in Halo 4?
It sounded nothing like the BR. I hope not. I don’t want it as the main weapon, anyway.
Alongside a load of new weapons to use, the BR is just fine to return.
Oh, and they also confirmed Forerunner weapons in the description. Yay!
Just because it may sound similar does not mean that it is the BR. It could be a new gun for all we know. Don’t jump to conclusions.

Yeah, I know, but I’m just suggesting the possibility based on the evidence. In my original post, I did state that the burst-fire sounds could be for an entirely new gun, so I’m not ruling that out either. This was an awesome bulletin, nonetheless.
