Halo 4 Brutes return

I’m going to keep this short,

Have any of you heard about brutes being in Halo 4? Any information on that?

There has been absolutly no information on brutes at all I hope that helps.

No information as of yet, it just seems to be the same species that appeared in Halo CE, Grunts, Elites, Jackals, and Hunters(unconfirmed). If Brutes do appear in the final version, then I will be surprised.

No info as of yet. I highly doubt Brutes will be in Halo 4.

The Elites are already pissed as can be at the Brutes. There is no way the Elites and Brutes would work together under a ravaged Covenant. They would tear each other apart.

Its not looking likely that they will show up in Halo 4 but I would be shocked if the Brutes and their sandox didn’t show up in 5,6

You’d think so, but apparently Brutes work the farms and repair ships for the Elites on the Elite homeworld of Sanghelios. Doesn’t make sense but that’s what Glasslands says.

I don’t think they’re returning, but not 100% certain.

Maybe they were forced to as slaves. Thats what the Elites did to the Grunts before they just became the cannon fodder of the Covenant Army.

The Elites took a huge hit because of the war, the reason for Grunts and Brutes working on Sanghelios is probably that not all relations between these races were necessarily bad. Also, maybe slavery? But yes, I can see Brutes taking on an engineer type of role in the war. On ships at least.

No info as of yet. We havn’t even seen the Gravity Hammmer, Spiker, Bruteshot, etc. I’m sure they’ll be in though, as Brutes weren’t betrayed by the Covenant. They’re more likely to be a part of any factions left of it.

That is certainly a possibility, but it sure doesn’t fit the nature of the Brutes. Also, Brutes ain’t exactly short easily frightened cannon fodder. That’s not to say they are all the same, but as a whole they were a very, well, brutal race. Hell, they nuked themselves from the Space Age to the Pre-Atomic Age. Only the Covenant let them reach the stars again.

As far as them being farmers and engineers…well that’s equally far-fetched. Farmers may make sense, but engineers, no. They needed Drones to help keep their ships up to date because Enginners aka Huragok, were kept from them.

Well, seeing as they strapped bombs to the Huragok like they did in Halo 3:ODST, I would keep them away from each other too.

Interestingly enough, 343i has said that many of the weapons from all the past games will be returning, along with the new ones, so I would venture to say that there’s a decent change that the weapons will at least be in the sandbox vis a vis Forge. As for the race themselves, I have no clue. If they are, I’m sure it’ll be a minor role, as the Covenant already has a much smaller role in the game this time around.
