Why are all of their names a noun followed by a verb.
Just the way they were created lol, but its the way that most of the characters are named. not all though, some are just single words, Rarity, Aloe, Lotus, Luna, and Celestia to name a few. Others are just two words fused, like two of the mane characters, Applejack and Fluttershy. Such is the Naming conventions of My Little Pony. (IDK if its all right, I do know that most of it is though lol)

It’s not so much the show, it’s the grown men that have taken a “fascination” to it.
That’s a minority to the fanbase. You have to take into consideration the many fundraisers the bronie community has created, all the money raised, and all the original art and music as well. There is no problem with men liking a show if it’s a good show.
