Theres many things that have people upset and complaining about halo 4 but one think that has me afraid more then any other factor is the fact i cant just go in to matchmaking spawn with a br and play. I HAVE TO UNLOCK IT !
So basically if i go off to college and im not able to buy halo 4 on release night and start playing around march, someone who has had the game since release night that theyll have the advantage due to having better weapons ? THIS IS THE BIGGEST FLAW IN HALO 4 HANDS DOWN
Each map has it’s own default loadout, so you won’t be forced to spawn with an Assault Rifle every game. If you’re playing a medium-range map, then you’ll spawn with a BR by default.
Where did it say that you don’t have the BR unlocked from start?
i understand but to me thats the most un halo like quality of the whole game i should be able to use the dmr br or ar on spwan based on playlist not map
All I see in the OP is rampant paranoia with zero sauces to back it up.
I’ll put this one in the “idle speculation” category…
Each map/mode will load with a default, appropriate loadout. An example:
BIG MAP WITH LONG SIGHTLINES (imagine Blood Gulch)
DMR
Magnum
Frag Nades
Map appropriate Armor Ability
Now it may take you a while to end up with precisely the combo you want, but the maps and modes are all carefully paired with VERY useful default loadouts so you don’t end up on a giant map with nothing but an AR and a sadface. Even if you’ve never played before
What has made a halo a stand off game from other big titles like call of duty is the ability to pick up and go and not have to worry about another player having an advantage because he played longer then i have.

this and who said that is how load outs work???
this what i mean , some maps allow you start with br while its still currently unusable on other maps but inorder to have that same old halo freedom an be able to use it when ever and how ever then yeah you have to unlock it

I dont think of this as a flaw…they(343) have there sights on long-term gameplay,…wereally need to trust them in what they are doing, i dont think we will be let down.
