It’s a progression system we know that… So essentially people that are higher levels have more/better stuff. I know we don’t actually know much about it yet but I NEVER! EVER! Want to get matched up with people that have 1000 more or 1000 less games played than me. Halo Reach does this to me all the time. Halo 4 better fix this issue. I’d rather wait an extra minute or two and get paired against kids of similar skill. Their is nothing fun about 50-20 wins or losses…
Since no one comments I will.
I agree, i get tired of being paired up with the team that sucks and or AFK.
It will be great if they do something about this!
P.S. Looking forward to see if you will make that damage effect video I asked.
Id rather they didnt have perks at all. Not really a halo game with perks or loadouts.
> Id rather they didnt have perks at all. Not really a halo game with perks or loadouts.
By that you mean it’s not Halo 2, ja?
I’m sure the game will match us up based on a skill ranking system. It’s a bit obvious, really, isn’t it? How stupid do you think 343 are?
There are no perks…its just that the armor you choose impacts gameplay. I believe they confirmed no perks.
There’s still time to put sprint and perks away from the main multiplayer. And I too would rather wait an extra minute or two to get paired against relatively evenly skilled players.
they’re are not taking the abilities away people. As for sprint it is a built in feature for everybody now.
My take on it is that it will only match you up with somebody who has equal ability levels to yourself. So no level one ability level versing level 10 or whatever the highest is.

They’re something else, guys, chill out

That isn’t really skill level vs skill level. It’s time played versus time played which still can be really unfair. It’s like level 35 commander with 1000 exp versus a level 50 with 1000 exp. The 50 would still dumb on the commander even if they have just as much games played.
I imagine the armor “perks” are more like attribute enhancements. They add something but at the same time, take something away as a consequence.
No killstreaks though, right? perks are one thing but killstreaks are worse. Has anyone ever spawned into a game of cod with a gun thats as good as penknife and someone else is rocking a harrier jump jet? this would be much worse
Take this perks, AA ,random from Halo! Don’tyou remember what happes with reach? It will be the same problem , with this stuff Halo 4 can be wors than reach !!!
Bring back old Halo gameplay style.

The -Yoink- do you think perks are?
What, since they are chosen by dressing up your barbie instead of simply putting them into a slot they some how aren’t a cod ripoff?
And how the hell is matching people based on time played a good idea? Playing a lot does NOT make you good. That’s why even to this day I get perfections on inheritors in Reach Matchmaking.
Reach matches you up just fine with people of similar skill and rank.
There’s just nobody playing.
Armor perks…hmm interesting, they’ll probably have their pros and cons,
They’ll probably have BF-like perks like increase in ammo count/ grenade count etc.
Whats weird is that Halo 4 is trying to add elements from different games…i think its getting a bit too hectic
e.g. progression system like COD, crysis-like gameplay, BF3 perks (thats what i;m seeing a the moment)
Oh and gears of war, theyre gonna add symbols on the hud showing where the power weapons spawn…
I have faced my dragon and no longer fear it. Mirrors never did much for my growth in the first place as they only reflected what I saw and did not offer anything new hear, touch, smell or see.

No, it doesn’t and it never did.
In one of the most populated playlists when the game actually had a decent population.

Well, if you think about it, halo 1 only had guns and bashing, does that make halo 3 not a halo game? because it had bubble shields, tripmines, etc

Equipment was just another object to control on the map.
It is totally different to spawning with an unlimited use grav lift and over shield in your back pocket.
Reach is not a Halo game and neither is 4. Having “Halo” in the title doesn’t make it a halo game.
