It would be crazy to not have a beta. A game that could make or break the series needs to be tested on a wider scale to ensure it’s stability. It not only shows us the consumer how the game will most likely play upon release, but also allows us to find bugs that they have missed.

If there is I hope it’s during the beginning of summer. I want to play Halo 4 the whole time, and not study for finals.
I know cant wait it is supposed to be released before the 720
it will probably go through waypoint or just public like bf3’s
guess maybe in may,cause the game is already finished like frankie said in the last bulletin:Campaign is playable from start to finish (not to be confused with complete or polished) and multiplayer has been running for a while.

the games not finished, still allot of work to be done on it… beta will prob go through waypoint or public like bf3’s

Are you talking about the next Xbox? We’re probably not going to be getting that until a couple years. They probably haven’t even started working on the next Xbox.

Oh come on guys we all know there is going to be a beta. They Had one for H3 and Reach,
With a blockbuster game like Halo 4 do you really expect it not to have a beta? I understand there is the possibility of not having one because it hasn’t been announced. But come in guys. There are so many what ifs and whys in the Halo universe, I know this, but really. Why wouldn’t they release a beta for one of 2012s prob most hyped game that people have dreamed about since that magic moment since 2007. Multiplayer in Halo games blows me away each game.
We can expect a beta. Honestly.
I doubt we’ll get a beta. Most real betas come out around 5-7 months before the game. Halo 4 should be out in 8-10 months, and we haven’t seen a drop of info on the game. Chances are there won’t be a beta, unless 343 pulls a publicity “beta” a month before release.

That’s both true and not true, all at the same time. We don’t know if there is going to be a beta, this is a whole new game developer, we have no clue what they will do. It’s best to sit, be patient and wait for 343i to come out and tell use there is going to be a beta.
If there is a beta coming out soon sign me up. This is me being proactive on the issue.
