so about 4 months prior to release, i guess you could expect a beta

August 2012, perhaps.

every game has a beta but not every game has open beta’s.

will halo 4’s beta be open? i hope so.

Wields is probably right, i have a feeling that Halo Fest will be where the first codes are given out.
