You know how to get in the Reach Beta you had to own Halo 3 ODST?
Well I’m pretty sure the access for the Halo 4 Beta will come with Halo Anniversary. Now, you may be asking why.
Considering Halo 3 ODST was more of an add on to Halo 3, it wasn’t a full priced game.
Halo Anniversary is also somewhat like an add on for Halo Reach, so it is also less expensive.
So, I have come to the conclusion that if you want to play in the Halo 4 Beta you will need to own Halo Anniversary.

There is no beta. It hasn’t been confirmed or even hinted at… At all.
The reason for the outburst is because as soon as one person posts this, the entire -Yoink!- forum will get excited and then will resort to bashing the dev when it isn’t delivered.

Not really.

The girl was going on about how they are getting close to reaching their next milestone on the multiplayer side. I kept waiting for her to announce a Beta, but then they changed topic.

They would’ve said no comment. There is no beta with anniversary.

If I remember correctly, ODST was $60 like any other Halo game on the 360

You see that right there? That’s called ‘jumping to conclusions’ ladies and gentleman. You shouldn’t do this if you don’t want to be disappointed.

Oh, and if the Beta isn’t on Anniversary, then what would it come with?

It’s called hinting and to use David Ellis’ words, a “tease”. I’m not saying there will be a beta, but when they end the podcast by saying they will bring the multiplayer girl back in March because “it will make a lot more sense”, people will speculate.

My sig? Only Spartans, SIs, and Admins can have them.
I’m not sure. But Frankie did say that if they had one it would allow easy access for everyone.

Facts are facts; there isn’t any disputing them.
In this case, there has been no evidence of a confirmation of a public beta. A major milestone could be that the maps are fully playable now… or that they’ve started ironing out the bugs… or replacing temporary textures… adding sounds… you get my point.
There has been no mention of a public beta and you would be a fool to assume there will be one.

If a company says no they mean no and this is very true of 343, they never denied a beta though but they did say it will NOT be accessed via CEA. If anything because they are the new owners of Halo they will make it 100% public.

there is nothing wrong with hoping there is a beta. Thanks Dr Buzzkill, we are all aware that a beta hasn’t been announced. We are just merely speculating based on the last podcast.
Okay people, I said this is only my opinion. I don’t care if you guys say what you think, but don’t go telling me I’m wrong for having an opinion. I simply thought it seemed like the most logical thing for 343 to do but I don’t really know.

People were starting to speculate that a trailer might have been there but Frankie told us that one would not be shown at the Super Bowl.
I do think we will get a beta but it just wont be accessed with Halo CEA.

Halo has had commercials in the Superbowl in the past. People thought we would get one this time. Frankie said no on Neogaf.
