Ha! Take that, haters! Halo 4 snagged the official Best Online Multiplayer Award at E3 (it also got Best Action Game). So if you’re still gonna flame because you hate armor abilities and loadouts and whatnot, whatevs. But 343 has proven that they are going to bring Halo back to the top of the online gaming world. 
It’s not really surprising. There really isn’t nothing to compete with Halo 4 this year.
I still don’t understand why people need Halo to be number 1. I would rather have a solid multiplayer experience. My current favorite multiplayer is Gears of War 3. I don’t care that it’s not number 1, as long as it’s a good game.

Not to mention MLG CEO Sundance said that he was happy with 343’s efforts and their willingness to cooperate with MLG
Besides planetside 2 and Gears of War 3, Halo 4 mp is literally top class, imo.

I agree. But I think it’s awesome to see it triumphing again. And I’m sure that it will be awesomely fun. The clips from E3 looked super promising.

Same for me. But it feels like a lot of gamers now just kind of roll their eyes when they hear about Halo. Hopefully, that will change.

Yeah, I get that feeling, too. It’s all about CoD nowadays, unfortunately.
OT: This is good news, but I tend to agree with Toa; it doesn’t really need to be Number 1, so long as it’s good.

All though, Call Of Duty is shooting itself in the foot with this new game, changing the formula. So its days are numbered.
Yeah, I’m not trying to say that any game that doesn’t win awards won’t be fun. But I think, in this case, this award is really important, given the controversy of all of the new features and stuff. I feel reassured knowing that people are saying “yes, it works, and it deserves praise”. That’s how I feel about it.
