Next time 343 updates Waypoint, they should add Halo 4 avatars. Now, I know there aren’t that many options, but I made a couple samples of what they could look like.

I typically use a url= bracket combo. I have never had an issue with it, unlike when I simply type out a link

And out of common courtesy, I color my links dark red, so that even after you click on them, you can still easily see them
