Halo 4 is going to be a well brought up game. IMO it was a good idea not to have a public beta.
This video does not Confirm or Deny that Halo 4 will be at MLG Dallas.
They did however hint that “MLG will be going back to it’s Roots.” And they said there will be “Console News” regarding a new game for the Console?
I’d love to see Halo 4 in the MLG tournaments.

Going by Pucketts tweets, there should be a Halo 4 and Black Ops2 exhbition Tourney, probably with 4 teams on each game.
After that and next year? Black Ops 2 and CS:GO are ahead of Halo 4 for a spot
I got a competitive question do most pros use Kontrolfreek or similar thumbstick enhancements. Im frankly happy with the standard concave thumbsticks but allot of people are swearing by these things?
Do you guys or anyone else use them and do they bring anything to Halo or is it just a Cod thing?

Halo 1 actually. Halo 2 Anniversary (if it’s being remade) won’t be coming out until 2014.

was it 1? i’m always hearing how halo 2 fueled and built MLG into what it is today, this of course would be viewed as its roots.
but then, i don’t follow anything to do with MLG so pardon my ignorance.

Halo 2 was definitely what “truly” got MLG noticed. It was even televised on G4 for awhile!
But Halo 1 LAN’s were the main thing that sparked Competitive Halo Tournaments.

They could very well be referring to CE. I almost forgot about that poll asking to bring one of the Halo games back to the Circuit. It received many votes.

no they’re a marketing scam. save your money and get a better shot the old fashioned way.

i wouldn’t say they’re a marketing scam altough the effects are greatly exagerted, they just make the thumb stick a bit longer which means you have to do more work to move the stick from side to side allowing you to use higher sensitivities with a little less training, only good if you’re over-agressive on the sticks and want to use a higher sensitivity.

right. in theory it can allow you to have a higher sensitivity, but for games like halo i dont think thats necessary.

Thanks for the info I play 4 sensitivity in Reach mostly because I felt the default 3 left me hopeless in close quarters fighting. I suppose in a way it just for out of scope camera speed while restoring your aiming when scoped in.
Im getting a new Scuf Controller you see and the thumbstick can be scuf doomed which is inbetween a kontrolfreek and a standard controller… I think Ill just void the warranty and change it back if it doesn’t pay off. It not like I’m attending an MLG event or anything.
