Now as I know I think most people are a tad bit annoyed of the fact that the LE Steelbook doesn’t come with the awesome artwork on the front. Well since we don’t acutally have proof other than the official pic, wouldn’t it be a good idea to have the artwork on the back side of the steelbook? that or have nice slipcover on it? or just change the whole entire steelbook itself? I myself like the new steelbook it’s the 2nd halo game to have a steelbook the 1st being Halo 2, but I would also not mind having a slipcover of the awesome artwork from the regular edition of the game on to the LE Steelbook.
Having a slip cover works! Halo 3 had one when they had the limited edition.
I was a bit disappointed as I am for sure getting the LE, maybe the manual has it on the front (better than nothing)
Either a case like reaches or even a slip cover will do. As long as my case has that artwork ill be a happy camper.

This. Pleaaaaase may there be a slip cover! I just hate it when an Xbox 360 game box doesn’t look like one (…?) but I still want to see the artwork as well.
Screw a slip cover. I’d much rather have a nice poster with the cover art on it.
How about a Slip-SPACE-Cover? Ah? Ah? ;D

Bump, this is a good thread
^^^Agreed, this is a good thread.

I really could care less for a poster, the case is more long lasting. I’d much rather have the cover art on the case than on a poster.
Id rather just get a poster, maybe they will throw some out launch night.
I can’t believe that I’m the only one who knows about this website.

Do what I’m doing; I’m buying the LE, and when the box and instructions for the standard edition become available for purchase, I’ll buy it from that site.
The steelbook case is very nice, but I prefer all of my game boxes to look the same in my DVD rack.

To be honest I’d prefer a sturdier steel case than the flimsy xbox ones. Don’t really care for any art, and I’ll probably get a poster of some sort.
Kinda surprises me how many people would take a piece of cover art over a nicer case. Like really, It’s just a picture. Don’t quite get it because for me Quality > Aesthetics.
Or will it be like Reach where the normal game box was inside the limited edition box itself? Maybe they’ll put the normal game box INSIDE the steel book case. If they don’t have time to have the FUD extended edition as a DVD maybe they won’t package the disc in a seperate box. Not sure if that’s related at all though.

That’s what i was thinking as well since the standard box art is extremely well done.
It’s an alternative i prefer as mission out on that box art would be a shame IMO. It’s really eye catching.

I would rather have both poster to decorate my room and slip cover to the box to look better
Maybe they could do a double-sided game cover? With Mass Effect 3 there’s a double sided cover, so you can have either male-shephard or fem-shep on the front of your game. Just do the same with Halo 4; one side is LE, inside is normal cover, and you can change them around.
they could always do what many games have done recently and have the LE box contain both the steel case and normal 360 case, so you can choose which one you want, or even if u want, like me, just have them all on display (makes your game collection look bigger haha)
It would great to have a poster, large or small like the Halo 3 poster that is on the back of the controller layout.
