Seeing as the armour in Halo 4 has caused such a stir I’ve decided to make this poll to see overall the communities opinion on the matter. This poll concerns the pre-order bonuses and the standard armour.
Uhh… Where is it?

making it-Done
I think it’s hideous, but I can’t know for sure until I’ve seen it ingame.
I like all of it.
The default set is the only one that doesn’t look so impractical, unlike CIO or HAZOP. Why would someone need extra visor space for their noses/foreheads?
> I think it’s hideous, but I can’t know for sure until I’ve seen it ingame.
It does seem very over the top but that could work when ingame. We’ll have to see.

To see up I think. When jetpacking seeing up is essential.

But the upper part of the visor is above the bridge of the nose. There’s no way they could actually see out of it.

That’s what I was talking about. As for the nose…perhaps it’s for people with 3 eyes?

For looks?
an extra camera thingy? A Light? who bloody cares, as long as it: A) Looks cool B) Does it’s job C) Trying something new.
the customisable armour is cool as long as we dont have to pay actual cash for it like the ones in gears of war 3
> who bloody cares, as long as it: A) Looks cool
It doesn’t, to me, anyway.
> B) Does it’s job
I’m not sure what an extra visor for a nose’s job is supposed to be.
> C) Trying something new.
New doesn’t always mean it looks better.

Well, some people think it’s cool, and as long as most people think it’s cool, it’s going to stay, thus the Recon, a ton of people think the Recon helmet is the most epic thing in Halo, but I think it’s the fugliest thing I’ve ever seen.

I was talking about the Helmet in general.

Old doesn’t always mean it looks better either. And in video games, if it looks like the developer just copy and pasted from the older game, then it means the game developer isn’t even trying.
I love them all. Yes, it’s just for appearances. Yes, it will likely make you a target. But this IS a video game. If skins on armor help people have more fun for themselves, then why not?
I want them all. Kudos to 343 for adding more FUN factor into Halo. They aren’t getting completely lost in the Halo fan community’s idea of what the game should be. They are making it their own.

Without any attachments? Yeah, I can understand that.

A Helmet with an extra visor for the person’s nostrils.

> Funny you say that, since Halo CEA was pretty much made up of Reach/H3 models. The MJOLNIR Mark V, Captain Keyes, Johnson, the Navy Personnel, and some Marine models are the only ones that looked original. All the weapons, enemies, and vehicles are ripped from Reach and Halo 3.

> Besides, it’s not like Bungie already took all the good designs, I’m certain that there are plenty of better-looking helmets in Halo 4 that they haven’t shown us yet.
I think 343 Should Let us create are own Camo and emblem’s That Would Be EPIC!!! This preorder stuff is to complicated for the buyer.
when it comes to additional visors, I think of it like gungnir, where rather than being an eye-hole, it is a camera, with a screen inside the helmet. I think that explains the new ones well, where the oddly placed “visors” are more like cameras…
