This thread was made to discuss what we would like to see in our armour. I wish to make a simple list of the most requested Ideas. Just discuss what you would like to see. 3 things I want to have a special discussion on arms,legs,and visor. Visor is old, but can we go more than colors? Possible etchings or designs like the EVA C in reach? Arms and legs are new. What do you think will go on them? I would like to see a forerunner/Promethean style armour, only unlockable through a hard achievement. You may now discuss!

There might be more customization areas for the spartan now, well idk.(Maybe) But i would rather have more customization than ever. More Unique for the player is better.

I want three color armor scheme and the emblem to show up.
I kinda want the helmets to be easier to acquire, tbh. That’s my Spartans face. I don’t want to be stuck with the default forever. I think the only reason I ever used Operator helmet in Reach was I unlocked it before the Scout helmet. I dunno.

I think there are less options than Reach, but they’re all more radical.

Think about it, Legs can mean changing from the waist down. The ENTIRE lower body instead of just knees.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we could chose to recreate Mark 5 and 6 perfectly… actually, I would, but that would be awesome.

I want a Tri-color system. Although we may see that now with 3 colors. Primary, Secondary, and Skin. So the paint would just be a third color.

Customizable Coloring: Helmet, Chest (includes arms, hands, and legs), Left Shoulder, Right Shoulder, Detail, Feet (not separate), Visor, Combat Knife (decorative).

Customizable Style: Helmet, Chest, Shoulders… hopefully Feet but I wouldn’t count on it.

I’m hoping the white lines on some of the Spartan 4’s can be customized. Looked odd in the first trailer.

Best case scenario everything reach had in terms of options, with wrist being replaced by the arms option you mentioned.

Legs and utility being two different things (seeing as how the utility in reach is something ON your thigh, not your thigh plating itself), like say utility is an attachment on your thigh like in reach and legs covers your shin plating (bootknife anybody?).

More visor colors, especially a red one, and for those patterns to actually be something you can purchase in game with those “spartan points” 343 talked about and not just a pre order deal. I swear if they make a tribal symbol pattern I’ll be more overjoyed than a giddy schoolgirl.

And also for the amount of stuff in each category going the halo reach route with a lot of stuff would be perfect, when it comes to armor customization the more the merrier. And also like a couple other people have said the three color system, but with patterns that’s probably going to happen.

how bout this a spartan red with black tribal pattern all over his armor with a blood red visor would look like something spawned from hell its self

and now for my idea it wont happen but would be awesome have a Hawaiian shirt pattern

Here is i want for the customization for Halo 4. I want all of the armor from Halo 3 and Reach + a lot more. I want every piece of armor from those game and i want the customization in Halo 4 to be like Reach’s and some. So if they make it to where you can customize your Knee guards, Thighs, Chest, Shoulders, Visor, Helmet, Wrist/arm, Armor effect, then i would be happy.
