Halo 4 armour change in Halo 5?

In Halo 4 the following; Pioneer, Tracker, and Engineer, had visors in a certain location. In Halo 5, Pioneer is all solid unlike in Halo 4 which had a visor. Tracker lost its visor and used the three circles as visors instead. Engineer swapped its tiny visor thing for the 4 eye-hole visors. Is there a lore specific reason for change or did 343i just overlook certain details? Just curios to know why.

343 probably just wanted a new look for them, but lore wise, I would imagine it would be something along the lines of a GEN2 version of the armor.

Multiplayer armor in Halo 4 was already GEN2 Mjolnir. GEN2 was created synonymously with the Spartan IV program so that armored Spartan IVs would be as capable as GEN1 Spartan IIs and IIIs.

Armor featured in Halo 4 was already GEN2. Also, they changed the armors quite lot - the armor parts have slightly different size and shape, and some details are different too… Most of the armors in Halo 4 had many panels lit up, which were removed in Halo 5. For example Scout - had over 10 lit up areas - all removed in Halo 5.

No idea why, lore you can say they just upgraded them… but game explanation? No clue.

No idea why they REMOVED some armors. Why abandon the EOD?
And even less logical - why bring back the OUTDATED tech, GEN1 EOD back from Halo: Reach but not give us the GEN2 EOD which already was available…
