Halo 4 Armor Opinion

Ok so this might only be my opinion, but I feel in Halo 4 the armor is less noticeable. In Halo 3 and Reach, armor was much more noticeable, or I though so at least. In Halo 4, the only time I notice armor is in the lobby, unlike Halo 3 where Recon was very noticeable mid-combat. Anybody else feel the same? Or is it just me?

I actually notice it pretty easily and like to hunt down them people wearing full mark.
Teach them to be retro chief.

I thought Reach’s armor was much better done. It looked like Spartan armor and lots of pieces looked like they served a purpose, such as the sniper shoulders. In Halo 4 it all looks pretty much the same to me except for the Legendary armor and that stupid looking unicorn helmet.

Why punish people for wearing the only armor that doesn’t look stupid?

I notice it pretty easily. In fact, I love the armour!

Honestly I’d have to say that I like halo 4’s better. Now before you judge me…I’m not sure. Just don’t judge me!

I think the armor is fine… Atleast there are more full sets unlike reach. Reach had a lot of random pieces that didn’t really go with a set. It still looked cool, but I think Halo 4 has a better armor selection.

I also didn’t like the credit system on reach. Some of the armor and armor effects cost way to much. Armor should always be unlocked through rank or commendations, not millions of credits (inclement weather).

TBH, I love the armor in this game, especially the Recon. Halo Reach armor is quite “bulky”.

I prefer Halo Reach and Halo 3’s armor. Both had armor that looked like it belonged on a super-soldier, and that it wasn’t inspired by anime. Halo 4’s armor is too sharp, jagged and too “anime” in a sense so that it looks out of place in the Halo universe.

I like both Halo Reach and Halo 4 armors. Like, Riot Rojas said, Halo Reach may have cool armor, yet there quite bulky. Even looking back at my Recon from Halo Reach, it looks big compared to Halo 4.

 Halo 4 armor has that “-Yoink!-” look, especially the Recon and two others.

I like Halo Reach armor. It is much more well done and noticeable than Halo 4 armor, I think.

Though Reach had good armor that actually has personality and almost a story behind it, Halo 4 has some great armor like Wetwork, Venator, Gungnir, and even Fotus which doesn’t look as stupid as people say it does, it’s just interesting and unique. But I find Halo 4 armor to be a bit more… Intriguing in the sense of how they came about.

Hm. I think, the armors from the different games are all noticeable in their own ways. Back in Halo 3 most armors were noticeable because there were only a few. Remember, only 11 Helmets.

And now we have what? 45? 47? I know even know that anymore. And that only the helmets. With all those armor, skins and so on you have way more combinations than in Halo 3. There are a few helmets, which are easily to recognize though, Venator, C.I.O. Vanguard, and more.

In Halo Reach they were just a bit more noticeable because it looks more bulky (like mentioned), and the game speed was not that high.

And because of all this I think it’s fine. I’m only missing my red flame :frowning:
