You’ll be able to change your armor if you don’t like the default spartan IV look. So it doesn’t bother me.
I like Chief’s armor.
I’m fine with Spartan-IV’s default armor (except for the tiny visor).
I can’t really judge the rest because we haven’t seen it ingame.
Well right now we have a helmet that look like they came out of Dead space.
Never thought I’d hear the mention of Mechquest here.
I’m waiting for some renders to really judge, until then… dat buttplate.

I thinks it’s different and fresh. I like it.
I love the new armor,it reminds me of crysis with hard plate armor on top,the helmets look alittle weird but ill adjust.

Not a fan. I’ve never had too much of a problem with the new looks of a latest Halo installment, but asthetically this is the biggest change Halo has undergone. I’m hoping 343 has some more classic looking Halo armor.
I hate everything i have seen exept chiefs armor.

Agreed. Previous halos have always evolved the look of Spartans, but the preorder images seem to suggest 343 has completely reinvented Spartans all together.

i like the new armor, its looks much more streamlined and less bulky and it feels closer to the elites armors IMO, you can feel the “aid” human technology recieved in those five years. anyway, it’s cool and master chief also looks amazing, freaking hot.
The new designs make the Spartans look much more mobile and agile, which I like. The actual aesthetic differences is up to personal preference, but I think they look interesting at the very least.
Not a huge fan of the Spartan IV (Mk. VII?) armor. It’s very “death machine-esque”, not Spartan-esque. Spartans aren’t supposed to be these clunky, square looking machines. They’re supposed to be sleek, agile, fast, yet powerful soldiers. And, I think the helmets that we’ve seen so far are horrible.
I DO like Master Chief’s new armor. It’s 1000x better than what the placeholder armor was that we originally saw. Master Chief looks like Master Chief again, just with some new gear.
