I know many hate the armor abilities, but how about ones that are actually useful? I have talked with friends and this is what we came up with:
Two types: persistent and temporary
temporary
Power Lock- the final product of armor lock. not only does it do what it previously did, but use it at high altitudes to shield legs, negating falling damage and even hurting unsuspecting vehicles(you can’t control fall and fall straight). when vehicle hits active power lock, it gets stunned.
Active Camo- taken straight from halo 2 campaign(heroic difficulty), but moving at full speed betrays you to the motion tracker.
Bubble Shield- 75% of drop shield duration. invulnerable
Hologram- holograms now attract the auto aim and make targeting riticle turn red. can be spawned in crouching form, and will go to destination. turning and jumping as needed.
Jet Pack- same as before, but press button for jump pack feature, convenient for fast transport.
(forgot to add) Acceleration- hold to sprint very fast, and press to evade.
persistent
maneuvering thrusters- able to control fall more, slightly less fall speed resulting in less falling damage. can board no matter the relative movement of vehicle to you. vehicle boosting the other way? no matter!
heavy lifting- anything that slows you down, from cores to flags to HMG’s, will no longer. Double the max ammo (for heavy weapons) and grenade capacity.
gunslinger- can punch while dual wielding. switch weapons faster, and store both weapons in dual wield when changing weapons. able to pick up energy sword in left hand as a dual-wielding weapon.
SPI Armor- armor color and pattern changes to blend in more with surroundings. outlined at a distance for friendlies only.(recognition purposes)
