Halo 4 armor ability ideas by merono1331

So im just tossing around some armor abilities ideas just let me know what u guys think

So first off i want to start off by say ive been play halo since the start n i like how it has evolved n stayed inline with halo CE n balancing the two now with that being said i wud love to see some more inprovments

Sprint should be standard for select armor abilities like jet pack and clocking, hologram, n drop shield, but not amor lock thats just a fast moving tank which would be rediculous

All armor abilities shoud hav dual actions live sprinting v2 is faster sprint that can cover ground quickly like evade kinda so yeah put those toghether and sprint v1 last longer n covers a good amout of ground

Jet pack v2 should have a jump thrust where its a powerful thrust that launches u in the air n cuases a small area damage in a certain range jet pack v1 should be the norm

Armor lock v2 makes a power drain like halo 3 effect but it also drains your shield so use it wisely armor lock v1 should be the norm

Drop shield v2 allow you to throw it like a gernade so you can cover your buddies but recharges slower drop shiel v1 stay the same

Hollogram v2 shud allow you to make your decoy go to 2 poinys hollogram v1 stay the same

Cloaking v2 shud make you completely gone but it drains your shield so ur completely vulnerable with a 4 to 7 sec max n u still jam enemy radar n ur own cloak v1 stay the same

Now for elite cloaking shud be standard becuase in reality it is but there exclusive ability if there must be one off the top of my head a probably a type of enhance senory nod or visor ability because they have advance technolgy n it wud alow the user to see heat signitures threw wall n the v2 version will increase range this will prob. Make alot of campers mad

But yeah these are my armor abilities v2 n it would be awesome to see some of these in the game but i wud love to hear your guys thoughts and sorry for any spelling errors I was in a rush lol

No but seriously, no AA’s in Halo 4. That would be the end of Halo.

Zero-gravity boosters: Internal and used in (duh) Zero-g areas.

Armour lock - optional ability that ONLY works to prevent fatal heights and prevent being splattered. (Being shot at decreases time in AL, can’t remove plasma grenades from body if stuck)

Over-shield: Pick-up item

Active-Camo: Pick-up item

Evade: -Exclusive to Elites

Hologram - Optional armour ability - make more noticeable, that it’s a Hologram to prevent cheap tactics (you know what I mean).

Armour lock - Was abused the hell out of (people used it for what it wasn’t intended for).

Jetpack - destroyed the lay-out of maps due to being able to just fly up any-where, also made you a massive target to everyone.

Although, if they were to keep to the Halo canon, AA wouldn’t exist to a point. And prologue games always manage to stuff up actual sequels in some way.

I also would prefer AA not be in Halo 4 either. And I would be deeply dissapointed in 343i for using a prologue game to affect the real sequel to Halo 3.

If you want to keep Halo in the right track. DO NOT DO WHAT REACH DID!

Guys come on everything evolves n halo going to. but they stay tru to their fan n they have classic gametypes with no AA. These idead are just to make halo even more amazing. Cuz to be honest in halo 2 was cool halo 3 was cooler with equiment n all halo reach was cooler-er with AA now. Equipment wud be cool + AA would be realy cool n make combat even more evovled n that’s what halo is about the evolution of combat n that’s exactly what they are doing with every game same loving basic mechanics with a few twist ur just gonna have to to adapt

Halo Reach wasn’t cool at all, if anything, it was a slap in the face to everything Halo stands for.

No AA’s, no equipment. You call those features an evolution of gameplay, I call them unnecessary additions, a bloat, a tumour on already great gameplay.

Halo: Reach had AA, Halo 1 did not.

Halo 3 had equipment, Reach did not.

Halo 4 is the canonical sequel to Halo 3 (which DID NOT HAVE AA IN THE FIRST PLACE!),

So with that line of thought. Halo 4 should not have AA, remove the DMR and bring back the BR, bring back the classic Assault Rifle model…E.T.C.

Prequels, and sequels, do not mix, you expect them too. it kills games for me, it makes no sense at all, and I would refuse to play halo 4, if it copies ANY portion of Reach, that wasn’t in 3.

None whatsoever because Halo 4 is the Master Chief Spartan II and did not have armor abilities! Reach had them because they were Spartan III’s! I understand he got the latest armor in Halo 2 but he still never used them in Halo 2 or 3, so why start now? Especially since he is nowhere near Earth and I highly doubt the In Amber Clad had them on board when it was cut in half! Ergo, there should be none!

What a load of bull-sh**. If you played halo from the beginning you would at LEAST be about 18. Which would also mean you would understand the concept of grammar and punctuation.

And if you have played them all, you should know what a load of rubbish Reach was. It’s campaign was by far the crappiest. it’s MP sh*t on all the vets by giving the kiddies AL, Jetpack, no skill DMR and other BLUH!

If 343i plan on doing Halo 4 correctly, they should ONLY follow through with what Halo 3 did.

Also, side note, Halo 4 has been in production since mid-2008.

I think the only armor ability should be one that makes new Halo 4 trailes / sereenshots / info. come out. I think this should added to Reach through an update.

Seriously though, no armor abilities, it made firefight too easy and Multi Player too fusterating.

ok I see where you guys are coming from. AA did sway from basic halo, but what some of you guys are saying is that halo reach was a bad game. Halo reach was a good change from being ring destroyers, we were trying to save the reach one of earth’s stronghold. Spartan three are cheap versions of spartan 2, so AA gave them an edge in the field which it does in multiplayer. I understand why you guys want to take out AA. spartan 2’s don’t have AA n it shud be in halo 4!

though I would like just sprinting being standard sorry, but I like the increase of speed so if we can keep that I’ll be happy

N halo reach campaign was not bad definetly on of the best it was a good change from the basic fight aliens then some flood the blow upa giant galaxy destro ring or in halo 3 the ignition point for all of them

Oh n I have played halo since CE n loved it. I don’t care what any of you say but I want dual wielding back with zero bloom. Spartan 2’s shud not have to deal with bloom, because of their amazing strength it shud be no problem for them.
