I am so tired of your excuses why this game is even remotely acceptable. If you can’t make a good game DONT FREAKING MAKE ONE!

You shouldn’t change for the sake of change. Call of Doody made the #1 franchise out of map and weapon updates and few game changes.
Meanwhile we have added death cams, loadouts, commendations, sprint, boltshot (I want to spawn with a shotgun because I cant out BR anyone:*()
Complete rip offs from COD because they are too afraid to design a damn HALO game and let their loyal fans support the game.
These stupid studious are no longer happy with awesome games that stupid fanboys don’t buy. They need “the best selling game” because somehow that means the game is good?!?

Lets add hardlight shield = riot shield
Esplosives = i don’t know but its a repeat
stealth = same
resupply = same
camo = same
sentry = same
haha just call this game Call of Duty = Outerspace

I agree, Halo is a shooter. It needs the modern things that just come standard with everything else or no new players will come.
The execution just needs some work because things could have gone better.
Maybe they are concentrating too much on attracting new players but they’ll get the balance right eventually.
If they put all their time into catering to only the old fan base the population will get smaller and smaller because every time a halo game comes to the end of it’s run some players of the original fan base will leave because they have other stuff to do like marriage, jobs, kids etc. It’s been ten years. The people who truly love this series have been doing it a hell of a long time and everyone’s gonna leave eventually.
To replace the people that leave they need new players.
And I bet they’re really tired of horrible arguments that could be used to make any game look like any other game.
Option 1: Keep everything the way it was from the first game; people will complain that the developers aren’t even trying and are just ripping players off with the same gameplay over and over, that they lack creativity, etc.
Option 2: Introduce new elements seen in other games; people will complain that the developers are just ripping off other franchises, try to appeal to players of other franchises, are uncreative copycats, etc.
Option 3: Come up with something unique on your own; people will now complain that this is stupid, otherwise other franchises would use it, that it doesn’t fit in a FPS game, etc.
The only thing all three options have in common is that some people will complain, because people will ALWAYS complain.
