Halo 4 and the xbox

So as I have posted on here before a large bulk of my on line play has been when a friend comes over. Back before 4 there was never any issues other then the internet in my old place. Now though since the launch of Halo 4 certain maps have that stupid frame rate lag when two people play on the same Xbox.

Currently in my house I have two Xbox’s and old white one and a new xbox 360 slim. I have been contemplating one of two things. One going out and buying a second halo 4 game to have so when he comes over we can play one two TV’s in the same room, or convincing him to back and play reach or play halo 3. My friend actually owns halo 4 at home ( his brothers game) one day when they came over the question was asked why not just bring the disk instead of the whole console. I know Xbox does not allow you to transfer the content that you have bought which is dumb if you buy it you own it, and if you own more then one console you should be allow to transfer it from one to another no questions asked. I told my friend that we would need the whole console and the game disk as well since the game disk has to be installed before you can play. Can you install a disk more then once on different consoles with no issues???

Anyway I was wondering cause from what I understand the frame rate lag in halo 4 is caused by 343 maxing out the graphics and such in the game. Would it be better on the xbox 360 slim console or are the graphics cards the same? As of right now I currently play on the older one as I have the Kinect in the living room for when people come over. And now that there is the new xbox 720 to be coming out with better graphics will that get rid of this frame rate lag in this game…

Question for 343i, How could you test a game and not see the frame rate lag?? Just want to throw that out there and maybe get an answer back. I mean it’s not like I need to do a certain movement, holding my tongue out to get this frame rate lag, its in more then one board… Anyway I would like to know why I bought a game that is not 100% functional, actually there’s a lot of us that want an answer.

Hopefully 343 finds a way to reduce the lag on matchmaking. Maybe there’s too much stuff on the maps. Or maybe there to many graphic details. In any case, Reach and Halo 3 never had these problems.

I am probably way wrong about this but I thought the lag was due to the p2p networking setup instead of using committed servers. I’m no network analyst, though.

The xbox has definitely reach the limits of its hardware, though. Can’t wait to see what the next gen platform can offer.
