I’ll Try and put this as short as I can.
I am one who has been angried by Reach and now slightly angried by H4 because of the amount it is different from the game that I love dearly H3.
However, Recently I just realised something hugely important.
Halo CE when I played it as a Child was absolutely amazing, and it got me into the Halo Universe and now i’m significantly older, 19 and I have remembered something…
…H4 to many kids that do end up purchasing it will be like my CE (However little -Yoink- kids fanboy all over CoD nowadays and only a minority will get H4)
So we should all stop the flaming and treat it as if it were a new game, and HOPE Halo 6 does it (and the franchise) Justice just Like Halo 3 did.
On a final note I heard that microsoft bought a load of domains Like Halo8/halo7/halo6 or something along the lines of that… So prepare yourselves to go through this once again in around 7-9 years… I know I’ll carry on…

I must say though, I don’t want to see halo 7,8,9 for like 20 years. Seeing the chief again will just bring the series right back up and it’d be an ABSOLUTE treat to the fans.
I agree, H4 will be a new CE in some ways. Master Chief wakes up from a cryo tube once again, to live on through another trilogy, then (Hopefully) go back to sleep in one again in Halo 6.
I hear it isn’t really uncommon for businesses to get domain names for certain products they haven’t even made yet, if they ever make them. It’s a backup business plan perhaps? I’m not knowledgeable on the subject, but that’s what I’ve understood from what I’ve read.

I totally Agree, and hell it could be 11 years until another trilogy maybe focusing on another aspect of the universe to elaborate on the history and myths more is what I would like.
Hell I could have kids playing through with me

Yes they do it all the time. MS registered Halo’s 10 and 11 years ago, and Activision registered Black Ops 2-10 recently as well.

Hmmm What you just said that it may be used as a back up plan. But when I think literally and when I think about Microsoft I know that if this trilogy succeeds then they can just reel in more money, as they did with price jack of ODST…

Not if 343i refuses to do it. They’ve pretty well established by now that the Reclaimer Saga is the end for this story.

Maybe they’ll move on from the Chief either Forwards or Backwards in time, 110k years backwards is what I’m hoping for 
to the creation of the Halo Array…
I would like to see an end to the Chief’s story after Halo 6. Hopefully MS and 343 will branch out and make different games like a RPG like Mass Effect. I would love to see a game where you play as an UNSC naval officer or intelligence officer that would interact with a post H3 galaxy filled with shifting political alliances and the remnants of the Covenant. I think the Halo Universe is one of the most in depth that has come out in games in a long time. I’d hate to see it just end after FPS’s get tired.

That would require a game where you pretty much only fight the flood… I don’t know if that would be a good thing.

A Playthrough as Bornstellar Makes Eternal Rising and how he has the Didact Inhibit him, get you really into the story meeting Chakas(343 Guilty Spark) and many others along the way…
Or play as Teir 1 Humans fighting The Flood and then actual Forerunners?
Or playing as Forerunners and immersing in their story and the many weapons of mass destruction (the flood) the precursors had left for them…
In my honest Opinion the Halo Universe and its story is quite possibly on Par with that of World of Warcrafts and Runescapes… However it just needs the mysterious parts solved or a glimpse of them so we can wonder for ourselves…
