So, I just got my Surface and was wondering if there has been any news on how halo 4 will take advantage of smartglass, if at all. If it it does use it, will it be available at launch?

Hope it won’t be too long before iPad integration, because that’s all I’ve got.

We don’t know if Halo 4 itself will support Xbox SmartGlass, but we know Halo Waypoint will.

The video from E3 was simply a concept of what devs would do with SmartGlass tech, it wasn’t actually confirmed it would turn out like that.

We literally don’t know what Halo Waypoint will do with SmartGlass yet, time will tell.

Ya know…I’ve been considering getting a tablet for a while now for the sole purpose of smartglass.

I’d look at getting a cheap android v4.x tablet if smartglass is all you want it for, probably the cheapest option.

Honestly OP, I have no idea about the integration for this website to mobile media. I’m sure there’ll be news about it eventually, but right now?

We have no idea. I’d recommend watching the announcement for the website upgrade and see if the compatibility will be there.

Bestbuy has Galaxy 10.1 Tabs for 250 USD. It’s a big screen, on par if not better than the iPad on hardware, and Smartglass is out for Android (IOS is still waiting, and I have IOS sadly)

Only downfall was that I saw it was used. Refurbished though

iPads will be supported, but aren’t yet. No timeframe has been given, they just say “coming soon”.

I’m sure it couldn’t be far away though. It is microsoft, so the turn around should be pretty fast.
