While playing ODSTa few days ago, I saw on the side of a skyscraper in New Mombasa the EXACT SAME symbol that is on the side of the stock on the battle rifle in Halo 4. My best guess is that the UNSC are using private contractors to fund spartan programing. This would make sense because the Spartan IV program uses volunteers instead of kidnapped children, therefore, contractors can be hired to make the armor, weapons, etc. Does that mean the symbol is a logo of a company that is funding the spartan IV program?
PS, I couldn’t decide if I should put this in the ODST forum or Halo 4 but I think this deals more with Halo 4.
isnt that just the symbol for misiriah armory? they most likely had a factory or center in new mombasa…so this is not surprising

Well, the armed forces have to obtain their weapons from somewhere. Guess that certain company has been converted to war time use in manufacturing weaponry.
How all the organizations work is anybody’s guess, but hinted in Reach: the UNSC is actually controlled by a network of super AI’s known as the Assembly or such.
