Halo 4 and Firefight

Well the title says it all… What do you all think will be implemented into Halo 4 Firefight, or what would you like to be implemented into Halo 4 Firefight. Trust me 343 will probably spend a lot of time working on FF due to Franky really liking the gamemode.

Anyways here are a few things I would like to see in Halo 4 FF:

  1. The ability to turn on so much ammo in crates. (So like ODST instead of Reach)
  2. An Increase in tougher opponents, but not opponents that deflect bullets and run straight at you.
  3. A Boss at the end of each Set possibly something like a scarab???
  4. Some sort of mode similar to Zombies (Not saying all of firefight, but maybe one mode like a flood map specifically designed for something along the lines of this)
  5. A game mode with a cross of Invasion, where you continue to a different position after every set and retrieve a core or something.
  6. A forge able firefight map (However I believe with the technology we have today that is basically impossible)
  7. Possibly if you have a kinnect the ability to pre-record your own FF voice??

That is about it for me at the moment, share your ideas and suggestions here too so we can create the ultimate Halo 4 FF experience!

I think that firefight is awesome,but Reach got some things wrong as far as matchmaking:

Unlimited ammo crates:
Firefight should be about surviving with what you can find,not use 1 weapon to down your enemies the entire Set.You should have to need weapon drops or pick up covie weapons.Don’t take it away,just give it its own playlist.

Arcade style FF:
Honestly this has made firefight into a credit farm. I found myself playing it when I wanted a new shiny piece of armor,or to rank up. You also have unlimited ammo,power weapons,and powerful AAs.The enemy had no chance.If you wanted to kill a hulking hunter with precision timing and combos,another player will have it destroyed from a FRG attack from above.Honestly,this gametype takes the fun out of ff.

This is what needs to be taken out/changed.Now onto what I think should be added

Maps that feel/look epic:
I think that a few maps could be centered around huge battles,like Tip of the Spear in Reach but on a drastic scale.Instead of having all of the enemy’s forces being pinpointed at you,you could show in the background that legions of Warthogs,Scorpions,Pelicans,and other UNSC infantry charging across the battlefield towards whatever enemy is in H4,to make you feel like you part of something bigger than just your skirmishes.
Maps also should be diverse according to themes.Have something that I had above along with maps inside buildings,deep within a city,but very few where youre in that isolated situation holding off legions of infantry.

Use of air vehicles
Being able to use Rockethogs in Reach was cool,but I always wonder what it would feel like to fight from above. Using whatever vehicle replacing the falcon/hornet would be cool,that is of course there are banhees and other air infantry to equal your advantages.Once again this would probably only work for a large map

I really like you’re idea of an epic battle going on in the background! It would really add onto the intensity of the game. I also agree with FF Arcade as a credit farming system, it just isn’t fun like ODST FF. On the flying note, I don’t know how great that would be in FF, I feel like in my mind it might be overpowered, but I really can’t say.
