Hello, Its been awhile since one of the biggest games of 2012 came out, Halo 4. Up to its release Microsoft and 343 went all out with the promo events, trailers, T.V. ads and game play. The game looked like it could be the best halo to date. Further towards the release date there seemed to be a few faults with the game, the highlight of these being the forge maps looking incredibly small compared to forge world. Fast forward to November the 6th, the games release date. The game comes out and it all goes to crap, the halo waypoint forums were a mess. Not a single positive post could be found. It was a terrible time for halo players, but I think its starting to change. Don’t get me wrong, the game has it’s faults, but some of them can be fixed much to everyone’s surprise. Simple things like better playlists, better Spartan ops missions, more updates, better map packs, original game types like team throwback and fixing the file share. These small changes have made small fixes in the game, but its not the big things that makes any game great, its the small things. They show that they paid attention, and that they CAN fix it. But its down to the halo players as well, it we want halo 4 to be up to standard, then it looks like we need to work for it as well. We need to make great maps and even better game types, we need to give the game what it needs. Your thinking that this isnt down to us, that we shouldn’t have to fix it, its not our job. But that’s how it is now. And I wouldn’t put my faith in any other community. Halo rests on our shoulders. We could make or break it, and I think that we need to decide fast, before 343 does it for us.
PS: In the comments don’t be a idiot, if you don’t agree with what I said then make a valid argument or point against me. I like to see your views and it’s annoying when people don’t help and just say “This is stupid, go kill yourself.”.
