It seems like the elites in halo 4 and 5, and even reach are to large. Elites are suposed to be almost 8 feet tall. halo 4, 5, and reach make them seem like they are 9 feet tall even without the added height of the armor.
I personally don’t think the height has changed all that much. They may be slightly taller but I don’t see it as a disadvantage. And it’s very minuscule imo
Ever seen the hunter from the “Duell”?
These guys are big(and noncanon),so the elites high is fine.

Exactly, its not canon. All the more reason to hate the huge size of the elites.
I don’t know if they are any bigger and it really doesn’t bother me because Elites in Halo 4/5 should be like different sub-specie or something.
And Ripa Moramee (Arbiter in Halo Wars) was pretty huge even compared to these new Elites.
I don’t really mind the Elites in 4 and 5 but they seem more like brutes than elites. I think Halo 1 and 2 had the best looks for what elites are supposed to be. In H3 and Reach I thought the Elites looked like dinosaurs XD

The massive Hunters in The Duel were explained by stating that the size of Lekgolo colonies varies by the gravity of a planet.
All of Halo Legends except Odd One Out is considered canon.
343’s Sangheili design seems fine in terms of height to me.

Interesting.
Also it has been said several times that the young Halsey is also not canon.True or false?

I’m pretty sure her physical appearance is non-canon, but I don’t exactly know.

What an exaggeration.
- All range from 7’4" to 8’6" so they’re definitely not 9 feet tall.
- Ripa 'Moramee is 8’1" and Jul 'Mdama is 7’10".
So 3)… kek. An “original” Elite is taller than the one’s you claim to be tall.

Well it’s very apparent that a lot had change over the years while chief was asleep, as so much like us human our height changes through the years. That could explain why the elites are slightly taller.
I don’t really notice a change in the height of the Elites. Only their physical appearance. Still, I know for certain Elites are on average about 7.5 feet tall. Then you’ve got oddities like Ripa Moramee who was 8 feet tall and Xytan Jar Watinree who was 12 FEET TALL. Granted, the latter was known for having a large headdress, but still.
It should also be pointed out that the Elites were “shrunk” in Halo 3 to make them play better in multiplayer. Elites are big. especially when they stand up strait.
I never really noticed

A elite is about a foot taller than a spartan, and aboit the same when hunched. Halo 3 seemed to make that apearance acuarate, the halo 4 5 and reach elites are like 2 ft taller than cheif.

Halo 2A elites are my favorite. Both looks and size wise.
You DO realize that the 343 Elites are actually a different race of Sangheili, right? These guys are actually from Sangheilios, whereas the Bungie Elites are from Sangheilios’ moon, Qikost.

Actually, Hunters have no actual standard size. I’m guessing that in The Duel, the Covenant sent larger-than-usual Hunters, since they were planning on killing a freaking EX-ARBITER.
