The armour in halo 5 looks crap and plain just not heroic, reach armour was awesome.
IMO, I like the halo 4 armor system. There are many different armor parts, giving us lots of combinations to create. Maybe its different than that of reach, but then again, the whole game is different. But that is just something that happens.
Now from the little that we’ve seen of halo 5s armor, it looks to me like its sort of a mix between 4 and reach. But since it still hasn’t been released, i don’t think it’s fair to judge it yet. After all, things don’t always look the same as in the trailer.
Nah, they just need to turn down the shine.
Have we seen what all of the Halo 5 armor looks like and how it is supposed to look like in-game and not in a highly glossy state?
I see… and do you have an evidence supporting that Halo 4 armor looks like crap? Any elaboration to that statement and this topic other than a derogatory comment?
To each their own, but next time you make a topic, try to explain more instead of one sentence on what you think.
And remember, Halo 5 is a work in progress. They stated that ‘it’s crucial too have a BETA this early in development’.
They have needed a placeholder this early for armor. They may have taken some of the H4 armor as proxies. Don’t get all twisted up just yet.

Actually… yes. The one I’m confuzzled on as to it’s return is Defender… O.o
I wanna see more “human style” armor sets and less “forerunner styles” than what 4 has. IMO, 4 has alot of armor sets that are quite frankly, gross looking. Just my opinion though.

4 lacked functionality. Most of the armor just looked like a bunch of sharp pieces put together. You couldn’t really tell players apart unless you got very close, and those colors looked bleached
A combination of 3 and Reach would be perfect.
I hope they bring back armor attachments. I prefer attachments over the skins.

The two armor sets shown look very Halo 3 to me.

Many were very…odd in terms of design. I submit ranger, wetwork, and venator, among others, for your consideration.
But really, as long as Locus returns, H5 armor can be whatever.

Your sniffer deceives you. The armor was barely revealed, glimpses of the armor (not even, probably concepts of them) were shown.
I’ve time linked this video so that you’ll start just as the glimpses begin. Set your video speed slower to see them in their true glory, and you’ll see they appear to be similar to H4’s.
(Unless, of course, you were stating that we only know the beta armor concepts, and that’s why you haven’t locked this thread for leaks, and I’ve made a complete fool of myself.)

You don’t really have any proof that Halo 5’s armour looks like crap.
More importantly, this is all opinion. I don’t really like Halo 4’s either as the designs looked weird to myself. This doesn’t mean that it didn’t look good.
I prefer Halo Reach’s, but it in no way means that Halo 4’s armour looks like garbage.
