Halo 4 & New Trilogy Updates... All that you wish for and more!

Hi BS Angel this is Emmp1, how are you doing? I wanted to let you know on some of my ideas for the next Halo Trilogy and it would be well appreciated if you could deliver my notes to the proper department beside of your gorgeous self so that we can improve the game and the trilogy, here they are: Campaign, armor abilities, visuals, sounds, gameplay, customisations, accessories, weapons, movement, vehicles, theater & Forge 3.0 : Back in Reach the campaign was good almost great but was not awesome, so it’s basically a 3 star out of 5 because of the following: Campaign & Armor Abilities The armor abilities were not implemented properly, some were great but lack time of use like sprint, where it should have been two modes like in the game section 8, first regular sprint somewhat a little slower than what end up in Halo Reach & unlimited follow by a secondary boosted power armor sprint that’s much faster and that can be time customize in the armory section under the tab name of ‘‘Armor Ability Customization’’ in the Sprint list just like in the equivalent menu section of ‘‘Section 8’’ the game that would be great and the player could activate the second sprint just by tapping the armor ability button a second time and where the power sprint would last from 5 to 15 seconds customisable by the player. Jetpack was great but the thrusters lack a lot of thrusting power and it should be somewhere between the thrusting power of Reach and Section 8. Hologram should have had a 5 seconds more added to the clock, Invisibility should be complete and shouldn’t have the jammer in it and last only 20 seconds but recharge in 5 seconds without the cutoff of high frequeces sound effect of it, jammer should be in future games not like by adding more dots in the radar but having a jammer diameter that’s 5 time bigger than the radius of the frag grenade in Reach where the whole HUD goes blank with lots of parasites in it and that last from 5 to 15 seconds customisable by the player . There should be also a Super Jump where Spartans could jump up to 4 floor by holding down the AA button and see the meter of super jump get full or depleted depends on you 343 for the jump and be able to activate some kind of 0 gravity thruster pack to avoid crashing when landing that you can activate from about 1.5 floor from the ground and be able to use it every 5 to 15 seconds customizable by the player, evade shouldn’t be an armor ability but a movement that any player could use freely not like reach where you go flying if you evade on a ramp but more like staying on the ground when doing so and up to 3 times in a row every 3 seconds, covenant elite harm shield in from of lozenge where they can use it to up to 30 seconds but lose some mobility speed just like the E3 of 2001 video of Halo and the same for Spartans with a portable & retractable human metallic plate shield, super strength where the player can break walls and thick metal that last 5 to 10 seconds. The armor lock was perfect but you should be able to use it up to 3 times every 5 seconds and someone who got stick by a plasma grenade before getting into armor lock should remain stuck even after activating the armor lock and the armor lock shouldn’t return a projectile to sender like the rocket etc… but the projectile should detonate on contact, that how real physics would have work in real life. In the suit, there should be some standard suit A.I. that tells the player about the suit condition like if the generator is running properly or if its overheating etc…, if connection with the helmet is malfunctioning or if a function is offline or if an armor ability not running at full capacity and be able to tell at what percentage that it is running or if its offline and need repair just like a power suit assistant that sound like Antie Dot but in more basic, an assistant that tell you if your shield is offline or if there’s a proximity alert of an enemy and that shows you all of your suit status and damaged areas directly in your heads up display (HUD) just like the game Section 8 with all the levels and layers of your shielding system just like the game Section 8, there should also be a generator meter at the bottom right of the HUD just like in the game Crysis 2 where you can see the percentage of the meter from 0 - 100% and see an overheat sign in the meter when its depleted and will take 2 to 4 seconds before it can recharge and where if generator core is depleted all the function of the suit shuts down where even the player movement of the player slows down by 25%. More customization where each armor ability uses the generator core at a certain extent, by example power sprint use 25% of the core, armor lock 33%, invisibility 20%, jammer 20%, super jump 30%, jetpack, 25%, super strength 33%, hologram 25%, shield 15% and the recharging rate of the core is 20% per second. The ability to switch between AA and be able to carry 3 to 5 AA on one suit and be able to switch an active AA with a dead Spartan or a teammate and the ability to switch weapon with a teammate. For the campaign, I would love to see more space fighting, ship to ship combat where at least 3 campaign mission would be dedicated to this style of fighting following with an invasion or a takeover of a ship to detonate them at the end of the mission with awesome outcome to the future of the campaign.

Visuals, Sounds You know in the gameplay the visuals are extremely important, so in first person shooter perspective I would like to see an enormously improve graphic by having real reflection of the player or the character face in the glass inside the HUD and also when it rains we could see the rain crash into the helmet and see the rain drop down the visor and when it raining stops we could see the droplet’s dry on the visor in the next 2 minutes. We could also see condensation inside the helmet when the player is running or when he is sweating and if he sweat a lot by running a lot, attacking a lot or get his adrenaline flowing a lot by fear of death etc… we could see sweat drops flow down the top of the inside of the helmet and see it dry in the next 2 minutes, also we could see dirt & dust accumulate on the outside of the visor in about 10 minutes of time and if a player get his shield drain out by a melee attack we could see some drops of blood to a lot of blood splash the inside of the visor depend on his shield strength and drain down and dry in the next 2 or 3 minutes in the visor. And it would be cool if we could see the visor get crack by bullets, melee attacks, explosions, splashing objects etc… and stay cracked until the player dies, especially with the dirt, the dry or fresh rain drops, sweat drops or blood drops in or outside the visor that would be super cool specially with realistic sounds, visuals, FX etc…, and with an amazing new sound engine that utilise each sound from the sound banks and uses a random but realistic pitch to time stretch engine that changes slightly each sound each time they are utilised so that each time a sound is used it may sound completely to slightly different each time they are use . Also it would be nice if explosion would be graphically like real life explosion with lot more dust, explosion FX, more lights and that explosion would last as long in real life with all the dust and particles sustaining in the air that obstruct the view for quite a long time.

The Gameplay In Reach it was weird and did not feel right on the spot like halo usually does, the A.I. was improve but there were some errors that makes it a little weird like stupid or suicidal behaviours from supporting characters and the covenant were speaking too much of their language, specially the grunts. I remember in the past halo games where the grunts use to say stupid & funny stuffs and go crazy, these were the days. I think the proper balance was suppose to be half of both languages where they would peak in english and then repeat it in their covenant language so we may learn the language, have some expert linguist develop the covenant language. Another thing is that four mission finish with a switch getting activated which is not that original, once it’s OK, twice maybe, do you see where I’m getting at and most importantly is that we didn’t get to switch player roles and visit some great natural, paradisiacal and ancient places, civilisation and structures in the story just like in Halo 2 where we visit some amazing playground and played as the Arbiter, it would awesome to play as every covenant in the campaign for a mission or a part of a mission, like the elites, the brutes (by the way the brutes were super ugly in reach and should be coming back to the original design like in Halo 3 or specially in the cinematic of Halo Wars where they pretty much nail the design of every covenant and Spartan in the game and they should use the Halo Wars design as a reference for every characters in the Halo universe), the skirmishers, the jackals, the grunts, the prophets, the forerunner, the precursor, the monitors and the flood in future Halos in all of the menus specially the multiplayer. I would love to see a lot of role switching in the upcoming Halo 4 and Halo trilogy where we could play as a forerunner, a precursor, a sentinel colony, the flood also as one or more monitors and would love to see 343 Guilty Spark come back from ashes by the backups of himself he made on the ring & be rebuild more powerful, more intelligent, more performance and ready for more action & so much more!!! I wanna see more side stories of the main characters that are playable in campaign with lots of challenges, mini games and easter eggs. I think in Halo 4 there should be a health bar just like Reach that appears when the player is injured and that gradually get restored to full strength when the suit is injecting the player with a special foam which is the same speed as an elite healing ability (with a special sound of foam injection) then the meter disappears. I think the bloom was so badly implemented in Reach because the bloom is the possible outcome of a bullet coming out of the barrel of a gun and the reticule is suppose to be the maximum outcome of bullet coming out of the barrel of the gun. That’s why I think that the bloom effect wasn’t properly implemented in Reach, it’s because they’ve reverse the role of the bloom to the one of the reticule and it was completely misguiding. Please 343 Don’t make that same mistake and keep the bloom at its maximum circumference inside the reticule to avoid any more confusion, where the reticule stay still and do not expand and the bloom expand inside the reticule, please. I would like to see the team who implement motion captioning do some motion caption on the reload speed of weapons with all of the different customise pieces a weapons, magazine etc… with different reloading speed from normal to very fast and also some simulation of jamming weapon while reloading which happen once in a very long time, I would advise to us the world Guinness Record holder for the caption of weapon reloading. It would be great if the implementation of the reload speed in a gameplay would be in relation with the amount of action being done within a certain time frame, where the more action you do ( reloading weapon, throw a grenade, switch weapon, use a melee attack, shooting a weapon, performing an assassination, performing a neutralisation, performing a brutal assassination, use an accessory, use an airborne attack support, use a remote control weapon, use an armor ability, etc…) the more it will decrease the reloading time from 4 seconds down to half a second and it will resume slowly back to its original reload speed of 4 or 5 seconds if no action is done within a 10 seconds. Also it would be great to see a reloading meter just under weapon magazine count that show the reloading progress in 3 or 4 part in the meter so we can know when to start awe AA on just like Gears of War. It would be awesome also if as Spartan we could access satellite area view so we could see awe position with an extended view all around or access camera surveillance in an area for recon purposes see the outcome of an area in the left side of awe HUD in color just above the new 3D radar and also be able to see what other Spartan are seeing even a few moment after their death if their suit is still working. Also It would be great to have a first person kill cam just after we died to know how we died and by who we died just like in C.O.D. Also in the gameplay it would be cool if we can see the helmet and HUD vibrate when we are running with a little parasite too. Also it would be awesome if we could control grenade throws by holding the button up to 1 second to be able to control the power of the throw so we can throw further or closer if we only tap the button.

Customizations, Accessories & Weapons I wanna see in the upcoming games with more than 3 times the amount of customizations that was in Reach for the armor where the Chief will have more accessories and other blades like the katana in Halo 3 it definitely got to come back, the famous Halo 1 belt with all the pocket in it, multiple daggers, different combat knifes like Rambo styles and other customizable blades, customizable energy sword where each customize energy sword style is related to an elite rank and where the original energy sword design is for the highest elite position and more; much more vehicle customizations airborne and land vehicles, and customise weapons. I wanna see more customizable weapons where all of the human and covenant weapons from past Halo games come back specially the BR, where you can customize the scopes, the magazines, the loader of each weapon specially the covenant ones and a lot more customization just like the game Ghost Recon Future Soldier where you can customize a weapon with Kinect for close quarter combat with a knife attach to it or for long range combat with the sniper that can have customize super long barrel and customize magazine where you can have double magazines attach to each other just like C.O.D. modern warfare 2 or one extra long magazine for special forces. There should be more kinect integration in the upcoming games and there should be all of the previous Halo games gun with more extensive customisation, options to them and new one that are for humans, covenant, brutes, forerunners, precursors and even the flood, there should be brute pistol, a brute sniper, a brute rocket launcher, a brute torrent and a brute semi-automatic rifle, there should be a forerunner, precursor & flood weapon for every category of weapon the human and the covenant has and there should be at least two different types of grenades for each one of them and one human EMP type of grenade that release an EMP blast twice the diameter of a regular frag grenade that act like the EMP blast of the plasma pistol. It would be awesome if you could use remote control weapons like a remote control little warthog that you could direct to a location to remotely explode it or a remote helicopter that could do the same or have a call out for ground support by an airborne turrent that you could deploy! I would like to see more new accessories like the radar jammer, gravity lift, regenerator, power drainer, trip mine and much much much more back in Halo 4 just like Halo 3 because it gave more depth & strategies to the game, I would like to see more different vision available like night vision, enhance vision (in Halo ODST), heat infra red vision, radar vision that utilise an highly sophisticated combination radars to graphically reproduce environments and enemies in 3D that show all every seconds and fades just like a radar would, etc. Movement I would love also to be able to shout out command to fellow Spartan or marines like ‘’ attack, retreat, cover us, go here, guard there and so on, basically the most common command in a real life army combat scenarios. Also movements should be free where you don’t feel restrain because of stupid game parameters, it should feel natural and normal just like Brink the game S.M.A.R.T. movement system where you can jump over things, slide under stuff or slide while shooting someone in the air or jump over someone while shooting down on them or be able to hide behind covers by tapping a button and not feel restrain by that move or be able to perform evade while standing up, we should be able to grab an opponent, neutralize him and use him as a human shield and be able to perform brutal assassinations where we can break their armor at the cost of rewarding bonuses. We should be able to use kinect to activate armor abilities, visions like night vision or infra red heat vision, accessories and use the camera lens of kinect to look right or left while playing the in a game.

Vehicles I think for Halo 4 we should be able to see all of previous Halo games vehicles and new ones from the humans, covenant, brutes, forerunners, precursors and flood that are fully customizable and that has real life sounds like if it were real in front of us with realistic acceleration FX just like the famous ‘‘vrooouummm vrooouummm’’ of an big army jeep (Warthog). Theater In the new theater 2.0 I would like be able to use it like a complete movie editor where I would be able to use all and every score music in the game to make a short or long film where I could save it directly onto my Xbox. I would like to be able save or record a sequence of one player or multiple players movement in actions just by selecting them straight from multiplayer, custom games, campaign etc… and edit them and save them, implement them into a work in progress or be able to create my own sequence of movement & actions where I can create or edit a player’s every moves from head to toes, where I could be able to create gestures like handshakes, hand waving hello, being able to sit, to get down and lay down and so much more. Being able to control a player’s facial expression to match a certain scene or moment, being able to accurately coordinate every facial expression or mouth gesture to a certain dialog or song or emotion at ease and being able to do so to A.I. characters or players, being able to select witch character you want for a certain scene and be able to use squads of A.I. characters to orchestrate a combat scene or a romance scene where you can tell a certain squad to attack, defend a certain position, to show emotions of love, anger, fear etc…, and more and be able to choose the level of their attack for each squad from novice to legendary, and be able to add more member to the squad at any time or remove member throughout the story line and be able to edit the camera movement for the playback and the effect of the camera like sephia effect, vivid, black & white, negative, old film and more where you can control the weather and the skybox effects. It would be awesome also if we could control and edit a vehicle behaviours through a path throughout the movie editor even in the story line. It would be amazing if could select every word, phrase, music, sound FX basically every sound in the game and be able to use it in the new movie editor to make any kind of film, documentary or comedy that professionals and the community alike could use in an super easy user interface.

Forge 3.0 In the forge 3.0 I would love to see a complete map editor from landscape to skybox to texture to theme environment (covenant theme, human theme, forerunner theme, precursor theme, flood theme, brute theme, nature theme, paradisiacal theme, etc…) to weather to natural events (water flood, volcanic eruption, snow avalanche, tornadoes, hurricane, earthquake, quicksand, etc…) to destroyable environment, a complete forge 3.0 experience with at least ten time more budget, forgeable pieces, and stuff at once in the same map, also be able to create awe own forgeable pieces from scratch or from a map. Also I would like to be able to mirror a forge piece and enlarge or shrink it with parameters up to 300% and more, I would love to be able select multiple forge pieces and group them together for group edition or for merging these pieces together to create a new piece, it would be awesome if we could same & name them, put them in awe much much bigger file share and be able to have a search option for new forgeable pieces that have been created by the community where we could download them and use them and also know how many times awe forge pieces have been downloaded. Also I would be super sweeeeeet if we could have a despawning time, this is a must and a special view option mode that we can go into where all the pieces are transparent so we can see all of the forge pieces and see all of their stats info where you could freely navigate through all the forge pieces without being able to move them but just change their stats info like spawn & despawn time, place at start or not, axis x, y, z, parameters and so much more where you could select them in groups, name the groups and edit them as a group within that view and deselect an object from the group or deselect the whole group. This has been my first review of ideas for the upcoming Halo game and Halo trilogy, remember my gamer tag is ‘‘Emmp1’’ and I’ll be doing more review of my opinions and thoughts like this soon. I think that I brought some super exciting ideas to 343 industries and hope that you guys would consider greatly all of my suggestions, I would LOVE to be a certified game consultant at 343 Industries for the Halo Series, can you tell me how I can achieve my goal BS Angel that would be very appreciated , Thank you. well how about you add this to your list THE SOUNDTRACK must be original no more of this knock off we get from reach …well a little bit of fake soundtrack wouldn’t hurt.

And in the gameplay there should be polite rating in each game where if someone is too vulgar and is voted many times as being vulgar, the system shutdown his microphone for a relatively long time, like 30 minutes or more than it gets restored just to keep people online polite & respecful.

Also it would be great if we could see an analog tachymeter and speedometer on the left bottom of the display when we use a vehicle like the warthog or the mongoose etc… that works and be able to do smoke shows with the vehicle with the handbrake.
